"This was the cutest little condo, right in town. The plus sides were the kitchenette, two beds, two baths, balcony, convenient location to the beach, the town square and so many restaurants, cafes and shops. Unfortunately, the location also meant that it was ridiculously loud until about 1-2am every night. Even closing all windows and using ear plugs couldn’t drown out the noise. So, unless you enjoy trying to sleep in the middle of a really loud party, I’d suggest finding a location further...

"Tony was great from our initial contact to answering questions. walking distance to town and the beaches ( Florence is on the rd. to Playa Los Muertos). Good footwear is required because rds are cobblestone and the town is hilly. No need to rent a golfcart if you don't mind walking."

"We booked our trip in the last minute, but were lucky that this place was still available. Halo, our contact at the property, was very nice and helped us with everything we needed! Only downside was the shower which didn't always have warm water. But otherwise a very nice place and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Sayulita."

"This is a nice, quiet property a little ways off the main part of town. There is a back road from the property to get to the beach. It is on a steep hill and has a lot of stairs, so probably not the best place if you don't get around well. The roof top terrace is very big and overlooks the town."

"This was a great place. Very spacious and comfortable. A few kitchen necessities (salt, pepper, coffee, etc) would be nice to have available. We were unable to watch World Jrs in the condo, we weren’t able to stream it on the tv…. But found a couple places that were playing the games downtown! A golf cart was awesome to have. We could whip back and forth to the centre anytime no problem. Lots of stairs to climb, but it was a good workout! The pool area is awesome!! Cold pool, and a heated pool...

"The host was deficient in not stating that the property was NOT suitable for elderly travellers. Most of the comments relating to this issue waffled around the facts. Consequently we moved out after only a couple of hours. If he had clearly stated the difficulties in access for people over 60, we would not have signed on."

"We stayed on the first floor directly above the street level where a wine bar is being constructed. The impact drilling into our concrete floor and pounding of anchors all day and into evening was deafening. When that is done in a couple months or maybe stay on a higher floor the place will be great. A couple mentions, that are not flaws necessarily but good to know so your expectations are not too high: for 2 guests staying 8 days we were only provided two bath towels, one wash cloth, and two...

"Location, location, location... Casa pata salada is amazing. Steps from the mellow section of the main beach. With the option to avoid the beach completely and soak up the sun from the pool and people watch, read, drink... The friendly smiling staff works diligently to keep rooms and grounds pristine and well stocked. Brooke was so helpful communicating via email before we arrived answering all of our questions and arrangements needed. And continued to do so when we arrived. "

"The location couldn’t be better! On the beach and 2 short blocks to town. Nice balcony and pool. There are only 9 units so not crowded. I’d recommend felt pads on the penthouse furniture as we were below it and people were always moving furniture in it. It was loud. Some nights very loud music from bar at Don Pedros. We loved the room and location and would be pleased to come back. "

"Everything was perfect right from the time we booked this hotel. Check in was seamless, staff is super friendly and the whole property is spotless. We had a family suite on the bottom floor and it was perfect, lots of room for our 3 young kids. There is plenty of bottled water on each floor, a good pizza shop attached to the building plus a convenience and beer store less than a minute walk up the street. It is a great place for a family, laid back atmosphere and fairly quiet. The pool was warm...
