"We enjoyed our stay immensely! The rustic look of the outside of the old converted barn, belies the clean, spacious, welcoming space within. We enjoyed the quiet, walking around the horse stables, sitting on the comfortable front porch, and generally relaxing atmosphere. Owners Marianne and Vigo were warm and welcoming, and attentive. The welcoming array of muffins and drinks added a special touch too!"
"This was a unique hotel. Definitely a historical hotel so the furnishings are also dated but that’s what this place is all about so do not expect any modern furnishings. Also, 3 floors and no elevators . Fine for us but not for anyone that can’t take the stairs. Whirlpool tub was nice. Front desk ladies were very nice. Will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful property in idyllic spot. Staff were very accommodating. Just a lovely spot to spend the day. Many reviewers fixated on the age of the property and signs of wear. If you are an expecting a freshly refurbished generic midrange hotel, you won’t find it here. But you will find a well appointed and charming hotel that doesn’t skimp on comfort. "
