The St. Regis Rome has earned a coveted place on Travel + Leisure's 2011 list of the 500 Greatest Hotels in the World. Dining and refreshment choices include the highly regarded Vivendo restaurant, the opulent Grand Hall, and Le Grand Bar, with its red-velvet banquettes.

The 24-hour business center includes 3 computers, printers, fax machines, and wired Internet access (surcharge). Concierge services can help find personal shoppers and arrange city tours.
Sala Ritz, the hotel's vast, columned ballroom, has been richly restored, retaining the original 1894 ceiling frescoes and Murano glass chandeliers.
Complimentary dial-up and wireless (high-speed) Internet access is available in the hotel lobby, at Le Grand Bar and in the restaurant Vivendo.

The room includes a black-marble bar and red-velvet banquettes. Guests can take afternoon tea in the bar or in the Grand Hall, which is appointed with silk-upholstered Louis XV furniture and the original 1894 cut-glass chandelier. “Great experience!!!!”
The door men were helpful when selecting nearby restaurants and cafes. The hotel bar people were execellent also. They really go beyond the call of duty in ensuring that your stay is a wonderful experience. i highly recommend this Hotel.
“Would love to go back..”
The St Regis Grand is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It oozes luxury from the moment you walk through the doors, and that luxurious feel continues throughout your stay. The rooms are lavish and well maintained. I stayed in a delux suite which was very spacious. The service is exceptional. The location is good for access to some of the tourist attractions, and if you want to venture further afield then you have easy access to the Metro and you are moments from the bus terminal. This hotel may not be the cheapest in the market place, but I feel it justifies it's cost, and I would love to return there again.
“Typical 5 Star Quality for sure..”
I stayed for 3 nights at the Regis, and the service and staff were as expected helpful and courties. Expedia got me a reasonalbe rate for a suite which was confortable but rather small. Otherwise, the atmosphere, food, staff, and the location are excelent. Everything is within a relaxed 5-10 minute walk.
“Would love to stay again!!!”

“A Truely Superior Hotel”
I don't stay at 5 star Hotels very often. The Service was fantastic !! Everyone at the Hotel makes you feel like you are very special. The beauty of this Hotel is an added value. I can't imagine staying anywhere else after experiencing the St Regis Grand.
“Can't wait to go back!”
The St. Regis Grand Hotel was perfect for our wonderful stay in Roma. Very conveniently located. We used the trains, metro and taxis daily. We've stayed in many foreign hotels and none were as "grand" as this. It was as close to a very nice US hotel as you'll find. It caters to diplomates and the King and Queen of Jordan and President of Egypt were staying there. The President of Italy visited one day as well. Several excellent restaurants within a block or two. Baroque basillacas across the street. Very safe area. And the hotel staff was awesome. They speak perfect English and were extremely helpful confirming and making reservations. We will definitely stay there next time.
“Excellent Hotel in Roma”
This hotel don't come cheap, but it's totally worth it if you can find a good deal, say on Expedia and if you're not staying too long. I booked this hotel for 6 nights on our 3 week honeymoon in Italy. It's a very ritzy hotel with all the amenities. We really didn't spend much time in the hotel because when in rome...you walk and sight see. If $$ is no object, at least temporarily, then I highly recommend you stay there.
“Fantastic Hotel”
Loved the hotel - really great place to unwind after a day wandering round Rome. Very convenient for the train station (and hence airport) and metro. Although actually many of the sites are easily within walking distance (we walked to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, etc - all less than half an hour off).
