“Great stay!”
Great hotel, very up-scale, but the very beautiful location is a residential area, far away from city center, there is a need to take a cab to go out of the hotel, or to get the hotel van. Hotel charges 27EUR to use internet per day, a amount I consider extremely expensive, and nonsense for a 5-star hotel, also hotel charges to use the Gym and pool, crazy!!!! Hotel food is superb. The 3-star Michelin restaurant, LA Pergola, is located in the hotel, but unfortunately it was closed by the time I was there.
“Very nice hotel!”
Really personalized service from the concierge staff and bar manager! However, service provided by other bar staffs were kind of slow.. Rooms were amazing, really clean and was kind of big despite the price we paid. We stayed in the hotel for high tea however some things weren't what we expected... British scones looked like cupcakes... :S However, tea selection was quite wide and I like the tea they provided! Overall, service meets and even exceeded our expectations!
“Great view!”
Pros: This hotel is amazingly clean and the staff is great. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious. Spectacular view. Great if you're very wealthy (which I'm not). Nice indoor pool. Cons: Wi-fi was 9 euros and not reliable. Shuttle was reliable but only runs until 8 pm. Amenities were overpriced (30-40 euros p.p.). Refrigerator could not be used since it was stocked with overpriced items for sale.
“Best Rome experience”
Wonderful hotel with an excellent view. The imperial rooms are outstanding.
“Rome Cav”
The hotel is very impressive inside with lots of marble and beautiful paintings. The staff was very courteous and helpful from the get go with luggage transfer to room, opening doors, explaining the free shuttle service and bus service in town. They offered free breakfast every morning that included just about anything you could possibly want for breafast and more with staff attending to your needs. The spa, swimming, exercise area is fabulous and well worth the extra fee for the use of it. The grounds were beautiful and lush with vegetation. On my last day they packed a breafast sack for me since I left too early for breafast hours. I thought that was very nice of them to think of me and do that.
“Outstanding quality and service”
The hotel was situated away from the centre of town - but a regular free shuttle was provided. The staff were always helpful and the surrounding were beautiful inside and out. On arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded which included access to the imperial suite. the suite was amazing alcoholic bottled drinks, juice, coffee and snacking food was constantly refreshed. we were lucky enough to get a room with a view over the centre of Rome which was unbelievable especially the early morning sun shine into the room. Could not fault the hotel / room / food or the service. Little over priced but fortunately you get what you pay for here and I would recommend the upgrade to the imperial lounge to every one.
“Very nice hotel”
One of the best hotels I have every stayed in. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great.
“luxury hotel but outside central Rome”
Great hotel, fantastic room with lovely views of Rome. However location of hotel is drawback, with shuttle service generally full and often leaving people to make their own way back to hotel by taxi when bus full to capacity (it happened to us and others during our stay over New Year).
“Great stay but pricey”
It is a great hotel, very comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff is very helpful. The only concern I had was how pricey everything was and internet access even at the lobby must be paid, printing a boarding pass at the business center also requires per minute use of internet. For a business hotel, this was surprise!!!
“Classy and Elegant”
This is a beautiful and very well maintained hotel. It is both old-world and modern at the same time. The restaurant is great; the buffet breakfast is spectacular! The best ever! Being in this hotel makes me feel like a movie star. Yes, it is pricy, but worth every cent.
