“Great location, very helpful staff, great free breakfast, lovely bathrooms, very comfortable beds”

We were very happy with this hotel. Rome is busy and it was nice to come home to a very quiet hotel and hotel room even though it's on a busy street in the heart of the best location in Rome. Ideal.

“Rome's Best Hotel - Probably”

If the Stendhal brewed it's own larger it would probably be the best larger in the world - since they don't I could only say it's the best hotel in Rome - probably. Great location

“would definately recommend”

We were very pleased with the Hotel Stendhal. It was recommended to us and you could tell why. The hotel is beautiful. The room was fairly small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb, as was the coffee! The position of the hotel is great, very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps and in walking distance to other main attractions. The staff were very friendly and helped with restaurant bookings etc. I would recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again on my next vist to Rome.

“Definitely stay here again!”

Great location very close to metro stop and Trevi Fountain - easy walk to Pantheon. Service was friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was ample with good service. The room/bathroom, etc was well appointed, if "small" by American standards but totally adequate by European standards. Neighborhood was safe and quiet even though it is on a main street (Via Tritone) - I was there in March and slept with my windows open, a lovely cool breeze and no problem with outside noise. This is a fine little hotel.

“si nous devons retourner à Rome sans hesiter nous retournerions dans cet hotel”

le seul petit defaut c est le bruit pour les chambres sur l avenue mais la qualité du service est parfaite, le personnel est tres sympathique et present à toute heure capable de vous rendre service ou de vous renseigner Nous avons pris plusieurs fois l aperitif là, tant c etait agreable apres une journée de marche et de bruit

“Hotel Stendhal.”

Les plus : Situation très centrale, vielle ville à pied, 1min du métro Barberini, bon petit-déjeuner buffet, très charmante. Bon service. Propre. Les moins : Chambres pas très grandes. La façade de lhôtel donnes sur une artère principale, brouillant (donc il faut demander une chambre sur cour).

“Great experience for 1st time in Rome.”

Beautiful, Cozy hotel. I am very happy with my decision in staying at Hotel Stendhal. I was a little nervous since this was my first time in Rome. I also was traveling alone. I felt very safe with the location of the hotel. Walking distance to the metro and the sites. I would return this Hotel and highly recommend to family and friends.
