“Très bien et calme”
Très bien situé près de la gare, du métro et de la station de bus. Hotel calme et agréable. Attention pas d'ascenseur pour accéder à la réception de l'hotel qiui est au 1er étage. Le petit déjeuner pourrai être un peu mieux.
“Just as the reviews said.”
We booked this hotel based on the reviews. It was just as the reviews said, only a few blocks from the termini and bus station, the room is good size, the flight of stairs was difficult when we first arrive since we had all our lugage with us, the great breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic, boiled eggs kept hot, cold cuts and cheeses, rolls, bagles, danishes, cereals, juices and milk, and of course the great coffee. A good breakfast sets your day on the right track. If we have the opportunity to visit Rome again, we will stay at this hotel again.
“Outstanding!”
Hotel is centrally located to most sites in Rome; close to Termini Stazione which is very convenient. We felt safe the whole entire time that we were there. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and directed us to a wonderful restaurant on Via Veneto (il Barocco) that we ate there three nights in the row; we also met this wonderful family from Adelaide, Australia at the same restaurant. Would highly recommend thsi hotel for its location, price and welcoming atmosphere.
“Excellent location”
Situated next door to an opera house. The colosseum was within walking distance. Once you have climbed the stairs to reception, there is a lift to the 2nd. and 3rd. floor. Rooms were very clean with modern bathrooms and excellent shower. The staff were very helpful and keen to answer questions and requests. Continental breakfast was of good quality and fresh fruit available. Would certainly use the Lirico if we visit Rome again.
“Convenient location”
The hotel was very clean and the service was great. It was a breath of fresh air to finally have normal sized shower with soap that was refilled daily. The staff, although limited, was superb. I definitely recommend this hotel and the location is great if you will be traveling on trains because it is a 5 minute walk from the Roma Termini.
“Safe and Comfortable”
If I'm lucky to made a fourth trip to Rome I will stay at Hotel Lirico. What more could 3 women traveling along want than to feel safe and comfortable. All due to the hotel staff. Thank You!!
“Very impressed”
Great location. Wonderful room. Helpful staff.
“Great location to Roma Termini”
This hotel is very close to the Roma Termini and reasonably priced for a nice size & comfortable room. Only wish they had an elevator & lobby at the ground floor. You need to go up a long flight of stairs to get to the front desk/lobby. However, they will certainly come down & bring your bags up for you. Very nice staff & front desk.
“Got more than we paid for--great budget hotel”
Hotel Lirico is a comfortable budget hotel and a true bargain for Rome. Our room was spacious, well lit, and best of all, quiet. The room had a comfortable bed, a sofa, a TV with satellite which meant we could pick up a few English shows, and a decent-sized bathroom. The temperature controls were easy to work, and it has both heat and AC, which summer visitors definitely will need. The only strange thing about the room is that the bathtub had no shower curtain. Breakfast was standard European breakfast-meats, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. The location is hard to beat--just 5 minutes from the Repubblica metro stop and a few more minutes to Termini. The restaurants in the neighborhood aren't that great, but we were hardly ever near the hotel at dinner time. We'd definitely stay here again!
“Great Service and location!!”
Front desk was great, took time to answer all questions and make great recommendations. Location was perfect for us; close to all major attractions by foot! Would definitely stay there again!!
