“White ROME”
The best is the location - a quiet place where all attractions are within walking distance.Even in the snow, the conditions were excellent - well-heated room, healthy breakfast buffet, polite and courteous service- all in all, the perfect Roman Holliday.
“Very happy and impressed customers”
Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my wife and found the staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel. Also only five minute walk to the colosseum.
“Hotel Duca D'Alba”
the reception staff were very helpful as we arrived very early from our cruise and were able to gain access to our room much earlier than normal. We were offered a cup of coffee or orange juice whilst the formalities were completed and also given an upgrade in room status to suite for which we were very grateful. instructions were given by staff re easy access to electric bus and maps were given for sightseeing with main sites highlighted
“Romantic Getaway”
My wife and I spent four nights at this hotel. We had a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it to others. It is in a perfect place to see the Rome sights -- we walked everywhere except to the Vatican. The hotel's staff was excellent in answering any questions and offering assistance. The room was quiet and super clean -- but not as large as an American hotel room, but that is quite normal for European hotels (other than perhaps 5-star chain hotels). Our room was next door and we did have to climb a few stairs, but that added to the charm. If you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway -- this is a pretty good choice. Forgot to mention several good restaurants are quite close, including of course ice cream.
“Double Bed :) 1st Time Vacation to Italy”
Loved my stay at the hotel people were very helpful and friendly very close to the train. Comfortable rooms and very nice, I am tall and have a Cal King bed at home and was pleased to see that the Double Bed worked out great for me and my girlfriend.
“Great Hotel - Fantastic Location”
Hotel Duca D'Alba should have a 5 star rating in my opinion. The service was top notch and the breakfast (which was included in the package) was excellent. The location was superb as the Colosseum and Roman Forum were 2 block away. Fantastic restaurants were nearby on the Piazza Madonna and great take-aways were located on the Via Cavour. If I travel to Rome again I would definitely stay at this hotel.
“great hotel!”
very clean and close to the train very helpful staff while trying to attain my bag that got lost at the airport!!
“Centre ville et calme”
Très bien situé, dans une petite rue avec restaurant et glaceria, l'hôtel est très agréable. En junior suite avec terrasse nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables. Personnel à l'écoute, possibilité de garde de bagages, petit déjeuner copieux, insonorisation correcte... et à proximité immédiate du Colisée et du forum (5 minutes à pied).
“Hotel Duca D'Alba perfect place to stay in Rome”
The hotel was situated in a perfect location up the road from the historic Colosseum and a stone throw away from all the other great gems that Rome has to offer! Perfect for those who prefer to explore a city by foot, the staff are extremely welcoming and are more than happy to help you with any question that you have. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.
“Roman holiday”
From the moment we arrived (early) we were made welcome. Coffee was supplied and we were accommodated in the comfortable lounge area until our room was available after only a short wait. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Their suggestions made our stay in the city problem free.
