“The Best”
Simply a great experience at this Hotel. The room was very large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very large and nice as well. It was clean, the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, there was internet at a reasonable price and the Breakfast was included and excellent. The location is perfect and near by restaurants make simply the best food in the world for a reasonable price. There was massive closets to hang dry our clothes in/put our luggage away rather than the floor. There was a foot bath in the bathroom, and two people could easily be in the bathroom at the same time getting ready. Basically the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Europe.
“Friendly & Great Location”
The hotel staff were all quite friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking to stay neat the Vatican this is a great hotel. Close enough to walk to the Vatican and there are many resturants nearby. You can grab a quick bite of pizza or share a romantic dinner at one of the resturants, like we did...the night he proposed! What a lovely part of Rome.
“Good Location for Touring”
Well run hotel with a very helpful staff.
“Clean, comfortable and cheap”
A great place to stay--not luxurious, but clean and cheerful and very very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was close to all the tourist spots. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great place to come home to at night after a day of sightseeing, recharge and go out again the next morning.
“on y retournera surement!!!”
“VERY SATISFIED”
EVERYTHING WAS EUROPEAN SIZED [AS EXPECTED] BUT WAS CHARMING. STAFF WAS HELPFUL IN EVERY REQUEST. ROOM WAS KEPT CLEAN AND WELL SUPPLIED. WAS CONVENIENT TO THE VATICAN AND TO THE METRO.[A 5 MINUTE WALK.] THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS ALWAYS THE SAME BUT THERE WAS PLENTY OF VARIETY AND QUALITY WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF PLEASANT.
“Nice hotel in a great neighborhood and an extremely helpful staff”
We had a great time in Rome staying at this hotel. Location is great: it is walking distance to Vatican and Angel's castle. We walked to Rome's center with no problem, took us an hour or so walking pretty slowly. The street next to Hotel is one of the best streets for shopping. Coming from airport was easy and cheap. Just take SIT shuttle (8 euros) to the first stop at piazza Cavour and after 10 min walk you are at the hotel. Don't bother taking taxis or other private shuttles. Hotel staff is great. They arranged the rooms when we checked in early in the morning (even though checkin time is 1pm) in 10 minutes, helped us confirm tours we bought on Expedia and overall were very nice and polite. The rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel is in pretty good condition. Breakfast was good, not smth special, but good. The problems were somewhat poor audio isolation between rooms, and lowdness of the air conditioner at nights, but if you are a good sleeper that would not be a problem. Overall we had a great experience and I think this hotel worth the money.
“Throw 3 coins in the fountain to insure your return.”
The room had a great view of the vatican, and was really spacious for a European hotel. It was clean, and tidied up every day by a very lovely English speaking woman who was very friendly and accomodating. The entire staff spoke English and made every effort to make us comfortable. The hotel is within blocks of the underground, bus, Vatican, and LOTS of shopping and cafe's. GREAT location, and a really nice hotel. We loved our stay, and REALLY appreciated the staff.
“Great location, Fine place to stay.”
I picked this hotel on Expedia from the description and reviews. It met and exceeded all my expectations. The location, near St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum, is convienent to the metro, to shopping, and overall just a great neighborhood to walk around in. A very plesant time, with great help from hotel personnel.
“Great Location”
While booking my trip to Italy, I was nervous about finding places to stay that were nice, affordable, and in a central location. This hotel turned out to be great. It was a good size room and was clean. Its within 10 minutes walking distance to the Vatican, St. Peters Bascilica and a metro stop that will take you anywhere else. I would stay here again without question.
