"The room had a very mountain feel. Very nice decor. Only issue was that both beds felt like sleeping in a bowl. Maybe broken in the middle? Besides the bed the room was very nice. Restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced. "

"We spent a quick and rainy night here on our way home to Central Minnesota from Denver. The attendee at the front desk was very pleasant and explained the property to us. We especially love that it was next to the 1880s train track. We will plan a stay here in the future when that train is running for the season. The breakfast here was wonderful. "We attended a wedding on this property and we had higher expectations for the hotel considering the high price. The area is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The price is exorbitant considering the condition of the hotel and the tv's have limited channels and were NOT High Definition, just like the old days. The food in the dining room was not worth the price tag. "

"Where do i begin? I grew up in Rapid City and went to Canyon Lake park frequently as a child. Now after moving away, and having not being able to stay with family, we needed a new place to gather. What an amazing facility the resort is! They have everything you need for a largebor small gathering. The availability of the lodge, or cabins was perfect for a reunion/95th birthday party for 40 people! I cannot recommend Canyon Lake resort enough!"

I thought we were heading to a single story easy access vacation home in the hills, and what we rented was a house with a walk up basement with a very steep and narrow staircase, the outside stairs to the front door, had no railing making it super difficult for my elderly family member to maneuver. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for visiting all of the parks in the area. Neighbors were friendly. The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Would definitely stay again!"

"This is our 4th holiday home family vacation and by far the best. This home is made for making memories. Although located in Rapid City, you would never know once you check in. The scenic beauty looking out the back at the deer is wonderful. The house itself is beyond comparson to the other homes offered. It simply is luxurious fun!! The pool, swim spa, game rooms, home gym, i cant think of anything it's missing. The bar has been set on this one!"
