"The service was amazing. The staff was very helpful with our needs. The food was freshly made and it was delicious! There have a small area by the hotel where you can walk and see wildlife. We were able to see monkeys within close proximity from the main lobby. "

"I read many of the other comments and I was pleasantly surprised by the resort. My check in time took <5 min (it was a Wednesday in May though). The resort was clean and the staff was very friendly. I was pleased that they doubled up staff were needed to always have someone that spoke English available. The food and drinks were acceptable. Overall the resort look a little “tired” but renovations are in progress. I would come back. "

"We enjoyed the restaurant and the surounding areas. It’s nice if you want to get some light hiking in while other members of your family relax. We saw lots of wildlife. It’s in the forest so you will get bugs in your room if you take food to your room."

"We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel right in the heart of Monteverde. Our room was modern and comfortable with amazing rainforest views. The on-site amenities are top-notch - beer garden (with great food and homemade beer), jacuzzi, yoga classes, juice bar - and everything at the hotel is done sustainably. The hotel's own farm (Finca Madre Terra) provides most of the restaurant's ingredients, including the cheeses, and every dish we tried was amazing. As a non-drinker, I was also very pleased by the delicious mocktails. We also booked a Horseback Riding experience at Finca Madre Terra through the hotel and it was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. We had a fantastic stay. (PS - don't skip the walking path, we saw so many white faced capuchins!)"

"Excellent b&b, best breakfast, afternoon popcorn for snack, receptionist were the best. Rooms were small but very clean. Bathroom was good and wonderful viewing common deck. Very walkable to the town. All in all we had the best experience! "
