Dazzlingly pink and white between green tropical mountains and the turquoise-and-blue Atlantic Ocean, the resort resembles a contemporary seaside village. Terraces built into the mountainside down to the sea naturally separate activities from tranquil havens.
The 468-room Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort welcomes guests into a marble lobby under a massive wood dome. Lodging buildings are scattered on the natural contours of a steep mountainside that features numerous stairways and steep paths.
Facilities include an air-conditioned children's club and a theater where nightly shows are presented. The spa features a fitness center with private lockers, an outdoor bamboo shower, 2 cabanas, a lounge, and a garden. Massages, manicures, and salon services are available.

From the mountaintop down to a long beach on a large bay, 11 pools on various levels offer swim-up bars (one in a cool grotto), cool-water spas, spa treatments, and salon services, adults-only peace-and-quiet, and family activities. Between the oceanfront pool complex and the beach, an expansive sand terrace provides sun, shade, hammocks, a volleyball court, and ample room for enjoying the tropical sun.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply. Spanish and merengue lessons are also available.

The resort offers a spa that features seven treatment rooms; a hair salon; two massage pedicure chairs; two manicure stations; a fitness center; men's and women's dressing rooms with steam baths, spa tubs, and private lockers; two outdoor cabanas; an outdoor bamboo shower; swimming pool; and a 10-person outdoor spa tub. Herbal tea, smoothies, juices, bottled water, and light snacks are available in the relaxation lounge and in the impressive, Asian-inspired garden. Spa services are not included in all-inclusive plan.

“HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!!”
FANTASIC TIME!!!! First i would just like to say not to listen to any of the negative reviews on this website at all!!!!! My husband & i were very nervous going here for our honeymoon because of all the negative reviews & thank god we were pleasantly surprised to find that this was the perfect place for our 1st vacation as husband & wife! When we booked we paid for the shuttle service in advance which i highly recomend doing. We waited not 5 minutes for the shuttle & off we went. We had the pleasure of meeting another honeymooning couple on that ride which we shared a lot of drinks & laughter thrroughout our stay. When we pulled up we all couldn't believe our eyes! The lobby was all i imagined...wide open with white sheets hanging down flowing in the wind...straw top huts & clean as can be!!! Our rooms were not ready yet since we took an early flight, not a problem...to the bar we went for my 1st of many banana mamamas!!!! Our rooms were ready in about 2 hours. We took a van over to our room to help us with luggage. We stayed in building 41 which from what i hear is brand new. It was exacly like it was pictured!! Clean, perfect & very comfortable. The service was impecable. We would take 2 sips from our glasses of water & they right there filling it to the top again. We ate at brazilion, mexican, indian & dominican & loved the food everywhere!! Book here & you won't be disappointed, i promise! It was much more than we could have dreamed!

We booked this resort for our honeymoon, and were extremely happy with our choice!!! The staff, food, beach, rooms were amazing!!!! We would return time and time again!! I've read tons of reviews people complaining about the food or staff, I really dont understand where they are getting the negativity from. The staff was beyond friendly, treated us as family. the food, was honestly some of the best we've had. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone!!!

My family and i had a great time. we just came back on sunday 4/15/12 and are already planing another trip. we cant wait. the food was good but the best part was the service, everyone was so friendly and helpfull with everything.

I was having second thoughts about this resort after reading all the bad reviews it had, but I must say our stay was great. The room was very nice (Jr suite, oceanview) the people were very friendly and the food was very good! I really recomend this resort!

The staff were wonderful, very attentive and happy to help. The hotel grounds, beach, and activities were great. The rooms are somewhat small and the walk to the lobby can be long, but shuttle service is available.
