“Good stay, safe, has all you need.”
Good comfortable stay that is convenient to the airport.
“Just what I needed!”
My room and service was outstanding but I took the advice of other reviews and stayed close to the lobby and lobby elevator. Noise was not a factor because I wasn't at the end of the hall. Food was adequate (through room service) and was delivered quickly. I appreciated the ease of check out and would or willl stay again. I do emphasize the importance of room selection!
“Fine hotel”
This hotel was great. I had a really discounted rate, though, and may have been disappointed if I had paid full price. Mainly due to its out of the way location. The room and bathroom were nice, although the beds were a bit soft (with two people, we rolled into the middle together). But otherwise everything was great. There is a train track but it didn't bother me and certainly didn't wake me up (and I'm a fairly light sleeper). Also, I was chuckling to myself that people had complained of a "strange" chlorine odor in the lobby---there is a pool right below the lobby and no walls around it, so yes, there is a chlorine smell. But nothing obnoxious and definitely nothing "strange". Staff were nice--cleaning people were smiley and kind and front desk was helpful (printed off directions to places, nice, etc.).
“Highest quality”
Everything about my stay was excellent, from the room to the staff.
“Great price nice bed over priced breakfasts”
The shuttle drivers and staff were friendly and helpful. The Restaurant and bar food was okay but over priced and small orange juice was 3.25 a waffle with fresh fruit small juice meal was $15.00 including tip. I dislike when you are offered juice or coffee before seeing the price on the menu. I would have never paid 3.25 for half a glass of juice.
“I'd go back.”
The location close to the airport is very convenient and not too far from downtown. Excellent amenities if you were doing business in Portland.
“I will stay here again”
Room was quiet, walls thick enough not heard no other noise. restruant was great for breakfast, fast and staff extremeely pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were impressed by the staff, as well as how well the hotel otself was maintained. We are going to make another trip there as soon as we can.

the reason i was in portland was to spend time with my sister who has cancer and does not have much time left. the hotel and its staff help make a not so good trip a comfortable one. the food in the hotel restaurant was excellant. the wait staff was very nice and professional. i actually had one of the best steaks ever there. my waiter was a very nice man who i was able to talk about hunting and fishing with. even though i was only there for a couple of days i still enjoyed my stay. spending the days with my sister were tough for me and it was nice to come back to the hotel and get good meals and relax in a comfortable room. when i come back out for her funeral i will make sure to get a room at the holiday in.
