“Great value, convinent location”
The room was wonderful, clean, up to date. The view from our room was nothing special. There was a shipping yard full of cargo containers next door but a row of hedges obscured the view. We did notice on occasion that there was airliner traffic overhead from PDX, but it was nothing too distracting. The continental breakfast was nice, as was the welcome home reception. Local beer and wine with a small salad bar, soup and an entree item. The hotel had a number of other amenities that we were not able to take advantage due to the weather (BBQ area, pool, sport court) but added value. The only two drawbacks I could notice were those that were minimal. One was that the hallway had a stale smoke smell to it like it may have been a smoking section of rooms at one time. The second was that there was a specific plant used in the landscaping that smelled of cat pee. We noticed the same plant elsewhere in the area and couldn't imagine why someone would want that smell outside of their window.

Great location for Vancouver activities. Great complimentary breakfast. Spacious suites. Comfortable bed.
“Perfect for our family vacation!”
The suite was comfortable for the four of us -- the grown ups had a comfy king with great pillows, and the kids were thrilled to be on the pullout sofa. The kitchenette was clean, and stocked with basic cooking equipment that we used. The pool and rec areas were clean, though we were a bit disappointed that the tennis court was not a full court, but a mini, and overlapped with the basketball court, so only one activity could take place at a time. The breakfast was wonderful, much more than we expected! The first morning, we had eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausage -- all very tasty -- and the second morning, eggs, scones with some variations. Lots of choices to accommodate all of the eaters in our family. I would definitely stay at a Homewood Suites again, and preferred it over the other suite hotels because of the kitchenette.
“Would visit again, for business or pleasure”
We loved our room! We rented the two bedroom king sweet with some friends and was impressed to walk into our room to see a nice living area. we loved that the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the suite with the living area in between. We each had a seperate bathroom that was a nice surpise. The kitchen was nice sized and had a wine opener too! The complimentary breakfast was well stocked with fresh fruit, cereal, waffle stand, coffee, juice and much more! It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and willing to help answer any of our questions. The convienence of being in walking distance two several restaraunts was a nice bonus. Would go back again!
“Gorgeous location”
Our room was spacious clean and well-appointed. Complimentary meals were tasty, if not inspiring. The pool and grounds were very well-maintained. Staff was courteous & friendly. The area, just steps from the north bank of the Columbia River, was hard to beat. Quiet neighborhood setting, walking paths near riverside, and good restaurants within walking distance.
“About Average”
Pretty much what you expect for a Homewood Suites, fairly good room service, but nothing that stands out.
