This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day.
The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
Among complimentary amenities are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; and hotel-wide wireless Internet access.

All guestrooms at Hyatt Place Tempe Phoenix Airport feature Hyatt's signature Grand Bed: Sealy Posturepedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; double down-surround pillows. Separated from the bed by a partial wall, the sitting area provides a queen sofa bed and desk.
42-inch, flat-panel, high-definition TVs allow guests to plug in laptops, MP3 players, and DVD players. Satellite channels include 11 channels of high-definition programming and SportsNet. Both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary; one of the two telephones is cordless.
Refrigerators, coffeemakers, and wet bars are included. Bathrooms provide granite countertops and Portico white-ginger scented bath amenities.
Dining
A complimentary Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, toast, bagels, juice, and Starbucks coffee is served each morning at Hyatt Place Tempe Phoenix Airport.
Bakery Café - Premium espresso drinks, beer, and wine; freshly prepared hot and cold items can be ordered using a touch-screen kiosk; baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks can also be selected from a cold case. Open 24 hours daily.

“Wonderful experience”
The Hyatt was a wonderful experience. The complimentary breakfast was great and we were able to use the two free computers on-site to print our boarding passes for our return flight home. Our room was spacious and very clean. We were on a tight schedule, but hopefully next time we will be able to enjoy the pool and fitness room!
“Excellent service & value”
Service was excellent, room was excellent, continental breakfast was excellent. Shuttle driver had gone home & hotel paid for cab fare from airport to hotel. They received and transmitted a fax for me at no charge.
“Extremely helpful staff”
I chose the hotel because they had a shuttle service. The shuttle drivers were quick and helpful, suggesting restaurants and activities. I will definitely stay there again if I return.

hotel was great - easy access to ASU and Tempe area - only downside, clock alarm went off at 5:45am - cleaning staff should be aware of checking this after each guest leaves and make sure it's turned off! I will certainly know myself for next time I use this hotel
“Loved this Hotel”
The hotel and the rooms were very luxurious. The extra sofa bed was perfect for the kids and just as comfortable as the beds. Shopping and restaurants weren't that close but not terribly far either. If that's not an issue this is a perfect hotel to unwind and relax before moving on to your next destination.

Very comfortable hotel great location, only one thing that was bothersome about hotel was the entry into the hotel hard to drive into from Preist dr and no signage or lighting

Hotel was great!..Beds were super comfortable..room was always clean..my only complaint would be that bathroom sink & vanity were in the actual room rather than in the bathroom with shower & toilet. It was distracting to see someone brushing their teeth while you are watching t.v....other thank that..it was fine...Really liked the separate sitting/desk area...
“Very Nice!!!”
I went for a long weekend. I was amazed at how close this hotel is to everything. A mile or so from the Zoo and Botanical gardens, Mill Ave Ditrict and down the street from great shopping. I will stay again. Nicest hotel staff ever! Right by the freeway and hotel but extremely quiet. Almost finished with remodel, then it will be perfect!!! Beds were SOOOO comfortable, I can't say enough good. HIGHLY recommend.
“Great Value”
Great choice when visiting the Tempe area if you have a car. Convenient to the airport and close to Downtown Tempe. Very large rooms with separate sitting area and great beds. Hugh flat screen TV's! Very quiet, even though it's close to the approach path of the airplanes. Free internet computers and wireless. Nice people--would definitely choose this hotel on our next visit.
