“Great place!”
Great hotel, great service, made for a great stay!
“A nice business travel hotel at a nice price.”
A budget hotel within walking distance of the finer restaurants and shops. Very clean and comfortable. We were late for the complimentary breakfast buffet, but the staff were kind of enough to unlock the door to the dining area so we were able to eat. We'll stay there again.
“Excelent location specially if you go to the Expo!!”
The hotel is very nice. The breakfast is good and the coffee is great. The room is big, with a good TV and is quiet. The gym is IK and the jacuzzi and pool were gerat (specially for all of us that ran the Half marathon). The hotel is very close to Market east train station and you can walk o Chesnut and Walnut for restaurants and nigth-life. I´m sure that we will be back next year for the Hal marathon again. The manager was very nice and they gave us 1 extra hour for checking out given that we were in the race. That was very good...
“Great value, great breakfast”
Very nice hotel. Convenient location. Valet parking was available (for an extra cost). Reservation through Expedia was exactly as expected. Breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, muffins, juice, fruit, waffles. The pool is small. Great value for us (two adults, two kids). Would stay there again without hesitation.
“Friendly staff and good location to various sites...”
Nice hotel that was situated in a very good location with most of the popular sites in walking distance. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast every morning during our stay. The selection was good with various options. The complimentary tea and coffee during the rest of the day also hit the spot after a long day of walking. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. All members of the hotel staff were pleasant during all interactions. Parking is located 1/2 block north of the hotel which was adequate. I would recommend this location to others.
“Excellent Value in Philly”
We arrived at 10:00 pm. We were met by an enthusiastic customer service gentlemen who made sure we had everything we needed, suggested a late night restaurant we could walk to and was very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, the elevators quick, the wifi easy to get to, and the free breakfast in the morning was stellar for a budget hotel. All in all I wished I had stayed here my whole time in Philadelphia. Family friendly, convenient to everything and they know what customer service is.
“One of Philadelphia's Best Hotels”
My family had a great time in Philadelphia. The hotel was great, and I would recommend it to anyone!!!
“value”
Good complimentary breakfast, free wi fi and guest laundry. Parking could have been cheaper- valet parking should have been the same price the parking lot. Close to Chinatown for cheap dinners.
“Would definetly stay there again.”
Great location (especially if you like exploring a new place by foot. Wonderful staff who were unfailingly helpful and cheerful. We had a smoking room and when we asked for a new room the front desk (Gwen) tried and finally managed to get us a new room. We forgot a couple of items of clothing and as soon as house keeping came they brought our belongings to us. Every one we dealt treated us great and gave a 110% effort when we needed anything.
“Good alternative convention hotel”
What a well-run hotel. The staff is exceptional--everyone from the front desk, those working the concierge desk, computer maintenance people who quickly fixed a problem in the (free) business center, housekeeping, the breakfast crew--all wonderful. They make the place. The only complaint I would have is that the bathrooms are showing their age a bit, but always well-cleaned. If you're attending a convention at the near-by convention center, this is a better bet than the much pricier hotels nearby. But Hampton Inn should try to influence the Convention Center management: why can't the entrance to the convention center--located right across the street--be unlocked? It is a four-block walk to get to the other entrance.
