“Great location for a short stay”

Hotel is in a great location and personnel was very courteous and very helpful. Double standard room is small (European). Bed was really not confortable. We also chose the Hotel because the webpage showed more French traditionnal style rooms which is not the case. Location and service was really great but definitely too pricy for the comfort.

“Stayed there for our honeymoon and loved it!”

This hotel is in a nice and quiet location just 2 min walk from les Champs Elysees. The neighborhood is very safe as there is actually a police station directly across from the hotel! The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and always helpful! We enjoyed our daily continental breakfast, which was delivered to our room at our requested time. Three different subway stations are within a 5-15 min walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Area recommendations

Les Champs Elysees is a major shopping and dinning street! Everything and anything you might want/need could be found along this bustling street! The Arc de Triumph is at one end and a obelisk monument is at the other end.

“Will stay again”

We stayed for 6 nights and it was worht it. Hotel has a great location, close to everything, quite street, beautiful design outside and inside. Friendly staff. Will stay again.

“Great place to stay”

Having never been to Paris, we picked this hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. We could have not been more satisfied. The service was great the entire time we were there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The front desk pesonnel would answer questions and make reservations for tours, transportation etc. The location could not be more ideal. There are many restaurants and bars within a 3 block walk. The Avenue Champ Elysses is 2 blocks away. There is also a pharmacy and grocery store within a block. The area is very safe and in what we perceived the high end of Paris with the Four Seasons and Palace Athennee nearby. This hotel is well worth the money.

“cute none chain hotel”

This hotel is a nice boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful (on the day we check out they kept our bags while we enjoyed the city until we had to leave), the room is clean, a little small but was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and a close walk to the area attractions. I would stay here again if back in Paris!

Getting around

We found the hop on hop off bus was a great way to get around the city. You can pick it up a short walk from the hotel near the river and go to all parts of the city.

Dining

At the end of the day if you want to have a simple dinner, the bakeries have warm fresh bread around rush hour. Pick some up, get a bottle of wine and some cheese and you will have the best simple dinner. Yumm

“Great Value-Cost option in Paris in Best area!!!”

Room very clean, good bed, quiet rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast! In my opinion, the best area of Paris, couple minutes walk from Avenue Montaigne, George V, Champs Elisee... Definitely will go back!

“Wonderful hotel in 8er in Paris”

The Hotel West End is a wonderful hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel staff were very helpful and all spoke English. The rate on Expedia was really good. The rooms were clean, well appointed and large (for Europe). We will stay here on our next visit to Paris!

Area recommendations

The 8er is close to lots of tourist attractions. Le Marais is more of a neighborhood with lots of little shops. San Germaine is Left Bank with lots to do at night.

Getting around

Use the metro and RER. Automated machines don't accept US credit cards.

What to pack
