“Very nice place to stay”

The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful particularly to non-french speakers. The room is small but well equiped and had a great view.

“Would absolutely go back”

The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. It was two blocks away from a Metro station and the Catacombs. One block away from the front door was a street filled with wine shops, cheese shops, fruit shops, cafes and the best creperie that we ate at in Paris! It was a little tricky to find at first, but not too bad. The room was small but comfortable. If you are worried about the size of the room though, your not seeing enough of Paris!

“Delightful Paris Boutique Hotel”

This was my second stay at the Villa Montparnasse and I was delighted once again. The neighborhood is residential rather than touristy; The Metro is steps away; The little cafes and shops are just down the street; Cafe Denfert one block away had some of the best food in Paris! I will stay again on my next visit to Paris!

“Would definitely stay here again”

The french have made an art out of practical use of small spaces. No exception here; but tastefully done. Great bathroom with shower. Plenty of hot water. Nicely decorated. Comfortable. Minibar. Desk staff fluent in english and very accomadating.

This area is full of life, cinemas, retaurants, shops etc exept for minor maintenance issues in the lobby it's in very good shape. nice garden and no noise. Staff: mixed. They should be mor informed about restaurants nearby.

“Next to the Great and Good”

This hotel is next door to the Cimetiere de Montparnasse, with map an interesting half-day excursion. Hotel was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and we had a delightful room overlooking the small park on the main road. Situated within a ten minute walk to the main station Montparnasse-Bienvenue or two stops on the Metro. We picked a good 'un with this one.

“We really enjoyed my staying in the hotel.”

The hotel has a very nice location with lovely restaurants and stores. The room is pretty small but clean. The air conditioner is not the best; it works like fan and doesn't cool the air. Everybody was very nice and helpful. It is located10 minutes from the train station, from where you can go to the airport without any traffic. If we go to Paris we will stay there again.

“Wonderful memories”

We were very happy with this hotel. Location is excellent. Nearby Metro station takes you to both airports (we arrived from Orly, left to CDG), to 3 other lines across the city. The surrounding area couldn't be better. Since it is where local people live you will find amazing coffee shops and restaurants (our fav Rendezvous), McDonalds (french style), and local shops for clothing and shoes (much cheaper than downtown). Hotel stuff is excellent. First time we were invited for a short overview of the city map after check-in. Receptionist showed us how to get where we needed and always was very helpful with all kind of advises. Room was cleaned every day. We would agree that things are not new there, but they are clean, no dust. In fact, hotel is so charming because of this vintage feel, that we liked it more than some cold new hotels we stayed before. After the stories of stealing from hotels, we appreciated that safe was available in our room. We recommend this hotel to friends.
