“Would stay here again.”
Very clean and comfortable little place. Convenient to post office, restaurants, great shopping and a fantastic weekly flea market at the Metro just two blocks away. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Maid service is very thorough. A prime location on the left bank. The buffet breakfast for 8.50 is a bit much for such basic fare, but I wouldn't let that deter me from recommending this great little place again and again or staying there myself on another holiday. It's close enough to a bevy of bakeries and cafes for lots of other choices, but it's nice to know there's a light breakfast at the hotel if that's the convenience you want, just eat your money's worth!
“Great Hotel”
This hotel is right near the Eiffel tower and is situated near shops and nice restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was comfy and clean.
“Great area and very nice hotel”
This hotel was really close to the Eiffel Tower so that was neat. Also, it was in a safe area. My friend and I went (we are 21 year old girls) and we felt completely safe the entire time. There is a metro stop within a 2 minute walk. There is not much night life around the area if that is what you are looking for. That staff was extremely nice and were eager to help. The room was tiny but the bed was huge and the bathroom was nice, so no complaints. I would definitely stay here again.
“A great hotel at a great price!!”
Becky and i really enjoyed our stay here, its in a lovely area within easy walking distance of the tower and 1 minute walk from the tube station. you will not be dissaointed with your stay here. towels changed everyday and really clean room. We found Paris quite expensive overall but the Disney village is well worth a visit! Have Fun!
“Nice room in a nice location”
Very nice 2 room suite on fifth floor. Staff very helpful and courteous. A short walk to Tower and train stations. Off the main street so traffic noise is reduced.
“Rockville Md USA”
The room was actually ready when we arrived, jet lagged, at 10:00am though I think this was just plain luck. We were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Convenience both in walking and the Metro (Dupleix stop) were excellent. The room was small but adequate. The reception area was not grand but was functional. Elevator was small, barely enough for one person and luggage. It was difficult to close the room doors without a rather loud bang but this was the only noise we heard during the evening. Breakfast was good and typical of most hotels of this size. But returning to the staff, it was their welcome that made this such a pleasant stay. Would definitely use this hotel again.
“Cute little hotel in a wonderful location”
Two things upfront...if you have a bad back..this is not the place for you. And if you have sensitive hearing...(ie anything will keep you up at night) again, not the place for you. Otherwise, this place was wonderful, staff kept things very clean, they were very helpful and you are so close to everything you may need. Eiffel Tower is approx 3 minute walk, various eateries (of various cultures). The Bistro around the corner was a common spot for us, breakfast in the hotel was perfect...and two streets up (where all the shopping is ladies) there's a McDonalds (when you're feeling a little homesick). I would like to note...that not only was the coffee at the McDonalds acceptable but it was delicious. Bathroom was very big (compared to what I expected) and the room was just big enough for my son and I. VERY THIN WALLS and the bed was horrible. We slept on top of every blanket in the room to mask the springs...late November and it stayed warm enough in our room to not have to use the blankets.
“Smoky but Good”
The hotel was situated in a more residential section of town, despite its close proximity to the Eiffel Tower. It gave a different feel for Paris than you might get in a hotel dominated part of town. The staff was helpful and always friendly. You can't beat the price and location, but we had to remember we were in Europe. The room was smoky, but a few days of open windows and it was comfortable again. I would reccomend this hotel highly for a budget traveler, just be a smoker, or don't go in the winter when you can't get a breeze.
“Friendly little hotel”
The hotel room is pretty small for US standard but it was clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived 3 hours before check in time but were allowed to check in early. The only negative thing that we experienced while staying there was the chamber maid did not clean the room and the bathroom thoroughly the last Saturday we were there.
