“Paris : situation et cadre idéal”
Charmant hôtel de catégorie supérieure, très bien situé et dont le cadre, la décoration,le service et l'amabilité sont a recommander.
“Can't wait to go back.”
along with all the things you want in a hotel, which it had, it also had location. It is in a great ares of Paris.
“Very Paris”
This hotel met all of our expectations for a Paris adventure. The windows that opened like French doors. Very attentive staff. The only ding (and its a slight one) is the noise level outside. A couple of nights the recycling truck was crushing glass right outside our window. At one point I though they were throwing chandeliers in this thing. From what I understand, this is common in Paris. Great hotel and a great location.
“Paris's Best Hotel?”
Hotel fantastic and received an upgrade to one of their new suites on arrival. Suite was modern contempory design with classical elements, lovely large comfortable king size bed, double bath, large walk-in shower, toiletries, robes etc large screen TV's, coffee m/c, everything you'd need. Staff are brilliant (even ironed a couple of shirts for me at short notice!). Service superb and the hotel decor right blend between old and new (try the Serendipity cocktail in Bar 30 attached) everyone very helpful. Great location within 5 mins from Place de le Concorde so ideal for the Louvre, Champs Elysee, patisseries, unique shops, designer shopping etc. Perfect Valentine Weekend location (evening dinner @ Le Ciel on the 35th floor of the Monpasse Tower with stunning views of an illuminated Eiffel Tower expensive, but the once in a lifetime experience was worth it!). Paris 'mega expensive' so be aware! Would definately stay again at The Sofitel. Taxi driver said the hotel since it's refurbishment is now one of the top 10 in Paris! So if you book in here you won't be disappointed! 4 star hotel with 5 star service. Very highly recommended!
“Great hotel, Great location!”
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during my first trip to Europe. Paris is beautiful and this hotel was so much nicier than I expected. The bed in the room was very comfy and the bathroom was very nice and updated. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and everyone spoke English which was a plus considering neither my boyfriend or I speak French. The only bad things I can say about this hotel are the restaurant is very pricey, so if you're looking to save money, don't eat here. This is hardly a problem though because there are plenty of other places in the area, including a cafe right next door. Also, the internet is ridiculously expensive. Those are the only two negative things I can say. The location is great, it's right near the Seine, the Concorde Metro stop and the Jardin de Tuileries. We were extremely happy with our stay here.
“Inviting and classy”
Excellent. Beautiful. Everything I expected.
“Great Hotel and Greater Price”
Luxurious and superbly located. A bargain in the best sense. (But the hotel bar is not worth it . . . .)
“Loved it”
My mother and I traveled for fun to Paris for the first time and were extremely satisfied with our hotel and its location. The staff were wonderful, the maids were great, and the room was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Best hotel stay in France out of 12 stays”
Great location, in nice area, street cordened off due to embassies so very quiet. We had a suite which was fantastic, double rooms are slightly small. The staff were very attentive and spoke many languages. Nothing was a problem when we asked for it (ie kettle for boiling babies bottles, they even came with a bottle warmer). Can't fault the hotel but we had a very nice suite with lots of room for our family of 4.
“excellent séjour”
Parfait : implantation, service, chambre, resto...Et même petit dej complet dès 6h30, ce qui est rare à Paris et pratique quand on prend l'avion. En bref, irréprochable.
