“"The New Hotel"”

Careful: Gare du Nord is not in the name. Great location on side street fifty meters from the glass entrance of Gare Nord. Clean, quiet, remodeled room with good bed, TV and plenty of hot water. The only problem is the walls are very thin and loud neighbors could be a problem.

“Good Budget Accomodation”

We booked the hotel due to its location near the Gare de Nord and for budget reasons. This is a basic 2 star hotel in reasonable condition. The amount we paid per night for my family of 4 was reasonable. Certainly nothing fancy here, but a decent place to stay on a budget. Hotel staff was very helpful.

“Great customer service”

We stayed in the family room (sleeps 4) for 2 nights in June. Reasonable sized room and bathroom and we actually slept well. The man at reception was awesome, so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

“Convenient Location”

Very convenient location - just across the road from the gare du nord station. Only 2 minutes walk and you could catch the metro to anywhere in Paris. Hotel itself was no frills but clean. Some unfinished construction work was left outside in the stairs area but no big deal. Would definitely come back just for the location since we didnt really spend that much time inside the room anyway.

“Friendly service”

The hotel is right across the Paris Nord train station and the metro is just a few steps outside the hotel building. The front lobby, staircase, and the lift are all very small, but since this is an economy-type facility, it can't be compared fairly with those expensive central Paris 5-star hotels. For budget travelers, it's a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location, with free internet access provided. There are cafes and other restaurants, including a McDonold's all within walking distance. It's a decent hotel to spend a couple of nights in for a quick Paris visit.

“Convenient Place to Stay”

We were travelling by rail so the hotel was a very convenient place to stay - just across the street from the train and metro station! Compared to American standards, the rooms were very small but that's typical in Europe, I think. The neighborhood itself is a little out of the way but everything is easily accessible by metro. Generally, for the price, I was satisfied, and I would stay there again.

“Cheap and cheerful.”

A very friendly, welcoming hotel but well worn. An excellent base for sightseeing in Paris with the train station on the door step and now the Red bus route as well(a fantastic and relatively cheap way to see the Paris sights, details and tickets from the hotel desk). We would stay here again.
