“It was great, extremely convienent location.”

The location is great. Just a 2 minute walk away froM the subway station. Local bake shop right outside and grocery store less than 5 minutes walk. The hotel was nice and quaint. Great for just 2 people.

“Good enough 2 star hotel”

Small rooms, that could have been cleaner, but the bed and the shower was at least clean, and that's most important. Many cozy restaurants in the neighbourhood, with nice prices, and not much tourist. Close to metro. The hotel had a good breakfast, for continental breakfast.

“Perfect Hotel for this Price”

I like that hotel so much. Even though it is two star hotel, it looks like at least three star hotel! It was new remodeled recently so I was very happy at that hotel. Receptionasts were very friendly... The hotel is not at the centre of the city however there is a metro statin only corner of the hotel. There are three supermarkets around the hotel which is not usual in Paris! There are a lot of restaurant too! McDonals is cross the strret!!! There is an open market place near the hotel on Saturdays. If you have a chance have your lunch in there!! If you want to stay a cheap and comfortable hotel, this hotel is the best!

Rooms- tiny, clean and comfortable beds, no place to put your suitcase, moldy bathroom, get the upgraded room Location- scary neighborhood with homeless people camping on the corner street, not recommended for women travelers, 2 metero lines very close by but still pretty far from major attractions. I would not sat there again due to the ghetto area with little options of things to do there safely at night

“Great little hotel in interesting neighborhood!”

Only a metro ride away from Paris' key attractions, the Canal St. Martin is notable in that it is located in a vibrant, interesting neighborhood with open markets, traditional grocery stores and a variety of cafes and small restaurants. With 2 metro stops nearby, the hotel offers the reality of the local experience while being readily accessible to the rest of the city. Rooms are small, furnished in what one might characterize as "current Ikea," comfortable and clean - thereby meeting all my requirements! The staff is friendly, helpful and gracious in accomodating those with limited French language skills. The surroundings are busy, well-lighted and safe. My experince was a good one - I'd definitely stay there again. Many thanks to Expedia for a trouble-free trip!

“Nice room in a great neighborhood”

The hotel staff was very friendly. We were pleased to find a nice clean room, with a very comfortable bed, and a nice suprise for us, air conditioning. The hotel is very close to the metro, and within easy walking distance of some nice eateries, a market, and a couple of laundromats.

“Convenient for Paris Nord”

My mother and I were catching an early Eurostar,, so we needed a convenient hotel location for one night. This one fit the bill. The hotel was clean, but the room was small. Since we were only there to sleep, it was fine. There were some good bus connections that took us to Montmartre. For a single night, it was a good value.

Cramped rooms that need a little cleaning up. Hotel staff were nice and the hotel was right by Jaures metro and close to a great restaurant packed with locals 24/7.

Nice hotel. Small room, good view when choosing top-floor room. Have a good (50%) discount, while staying there late August. Several subway stations near around. Paring 5 minutes walk - 18euro/day.
