Very European in room size (small but enough). Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast standard. Ask for a room not facing the main street or the police station as both are active all night.

“Unpretentious comfort”

Hotel Manufacture was just what we needed - clean, pleasant, handy for lots of attractions and it served a good breakfast. Just five minutes from Place d'Italie (metro, shopping centre, restaurants etc) and two minutes from a cinema showing films in original languages. Not right in the centre, but an easy metro ride - on our last day we discovered we were a leisurely stroll away from the Latin Quarter and a whole different atmosphere. We had everything we needed at the hotel for a great weekend.

Great location by shopping and restaurants. The staff was almost too helpful- if that is even possible in Paris! They really seemed to care if the guests were happy and had everything they needed. I will stay here again.

“Comfortable place to lay your head after days end”

Lovely building in a very central location and quiet surroundings. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on food but apart from a lovely comfortable bed the room is just that. Staff were nice but didn't have a plug adapter and couldn't help with shop that may sell these. But that is a minor issue. Lady was very helpful with how to get around and see all attractions and even recommended a couple of places to eat.

“Right price, easy location, safe neighborhood.”

My husband and I selected this hotel based on price and location and we were not disappointed. The hotel is easy to find once you exit the Place d'Itale metro stop, it's close to many restaurants and cafes, and there's a tiny supermarket just behind the hotel which came in handy for stocking up on supplies. Also - it's in a very, very safe location as there's a police station directly behind the hotel...our room looked down onto the station. There were a couple of quirky things- we didn't have a shower curtain and when we asked about it the receptionist said it was alright to use the shower anyway. So, the tile and grout in the bathroom was in need of some repair. There was an obvious smell of cigarette smoke coming from other rooms (I'm not allergic but found myself stuffy and sneezy - I would not recommend this hotel if you have an aversion to smoke). The bed was very comfortable, the staff was incredibly helpful with info about Paris, arranging wake-up calls, and calling us a taxi for our early ride to the airport.

“Was pleasantly surprised”

Because of a travel glitch we had an extra night in Paris and decided to explore a different venue. My friend located this hotel in some literature and we booked through Expedia. The lobby is arty and colorful as is the bar area and breakfast room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Transportation close by, both buses and the Metro. The room was small (aren't they all) but clean with a window that actually opened. And the beds were great!! Sometimes it seems a good bed is hard to find!!

Great staff as per other reviews (though they couldn't find our booking originally!). The room was very small - though perfectly comfortable - and there was no curtain on the shower so it was like a wet room, but didn't work like that in practive because there was no drainage on the floor, so it was always very wet. They took notice of our request for a quiet room off the main street/police station, we faced the courtyard which was really peaceful. We ordered breakfast in bed which came with masses of food, though they did forget the omelette we asked for.
