“Outstanding and very civilised”

The Raphael is a delightful smaller hotel run to the highest standards. The quality of both the food, service and attention to detail were all outstanding. All the front of house staff speak fluent English and could not be more helpful re making reservations etc.. The hotel will provide access tickets for the main museums, which enables one to skip the often very long queues.

“Turner and Raphael”

Big room, fabulous linens. Given the price, I was surprised that a continental breakfast was not included and that a croissant could really be that expensive. Everything was extra, including internet connection. No place to dine in the hotel on Sunday evenings. Perhaps the best concierge desk in Paris.

“Friendly, comfortable, spacious, needs renovations”

Mostly it was a nice hotel, but I believe that I saw a mouse run by on my third day there. We had a Junior suite and it was huge! A ton of space which is really difficult to find in Paris. However, this hotel nees to go through some serious renovations. It is very old and you can tell. The rugs in the lobby are in HORRIBLE condition and at the very least they should replace those. The rooms need to have their bathrooms renovated.
