“Excellent on a budget.”

This is a 2 star hotel with character. It has a small reception & tiny lift which is helpful as it has 6 floors the area is great for Montmatre without the cost turn right out of hotel onto ave clichy & get 54 bus to Sacre Coure & turn left for Guy Moquet Metro very easy to get anywhere on the Paris Metro. We choose the bus routes as were travelling with our toddler & pushchair & wanted to see more of Paris, you can get the 31 straight to gare Nord (Eurostar) in 15mins. Left of the hotel are excellent wine, cheese, & butchers & right excellent boulangerie/bread & patesserie for cakes etc. This is an unpretentious authentic Pariessiene stay remenisent of old Paris not chain no massive marble lobby with self important staff. Just genuine Paris on a budget with better attentive & helpfulness from the desk than we've experienced in a 4/5 star establishments without a hint of arrogance, & geniune know how, which made our stay a confident, quality & one of ease.
