“Very Convenient location”
Very central location. Close to the metro and affordable restaurants.
“Mayfair was a real gem”
The Mayfair was a delightful hotel. Very comfortable room and spacious. There were two of us so we had a king room - there are 4 in the hotel which has 47 rooms. This is a boutique hotel and very quiet with a great location. The staff could not have been more helpful in every way. I have stayed at about a dozen hotels in Paris and this is my number one. I will absolutely return.
“overall great place to stay, clean, comfortable, friendly environment.”
This is a very nice little hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated (elevator needs an update). The single rooms are small with twin bed but very nice. Flat screen TV, minibar, very clean. Arrived early (10AM) and they allowed us to check in, no problem. Front desk staff (especially Gregoir) is very helpful. Made us dinner reservations at resturants we requested and arranged for transport to airport, they were knowledgable about metro stops etc and speak english if you do not speak French. The breakfast at hotel is convienent and the waitstaff very attentive. The less expensive option is good value in this area....yogurt, juice, pastry and coffee which the refill...at a cafe you would have to order another cup. All served on lovely china. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again!
“Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location.”
This was my husband and my first trip to Paris. We could not have been more happy with the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and all the employees were friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. The rooms were clean and actually larger then what I was expecting. The location was perfect. Close to the Metro, but also nice walks to the Eiffel Tower and the Ile de la Cite.
“perfect location, lovely staff”
We found this to be an excellent location from which to explore Paris - we could walk anywhere - L'ouvre, Musee D'Orsay, Place de la Concorde, even Arc de Triomphe and L'ile du cite. The staff was very helpful and willing to help. One evening when we came back with take-out they very willingly and promptly re-heated our food and brought it to our room. Absolutely no complaints.
“excelent hotel”
Hotel is very well located between walking distance of several key points of Paris. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable beds. no noise during the night and the air conditiong worked perfectly (not a common ammenities in Europe). Would definitively go back here again.
“Very Convient Location”
As the saying goes in real estate "Location, Location, Location" The Mayfair is within walking distance of many sights and public transportation. Many restaurants are also within a few short blocks. The only negative is the front of the hotel faces the back of the Westin Hotel. The Westin's trash gets picked up at 7AM every morning. This only effects rooms on the front side of the hotel. Didn't try the hotel restaurant. Staff was very helpful.
“Very good surroundings, but not the 4 stars hotel...”
I expected a bit more from the description of the hotel and it's pictures. I can give it only 3 stars. But the hotel has the very good location and it helps :)
“Good location and service but beware of noise”
The service and location were great, but travelers should beware that the front of the hotel faces the loading dock for the Westin just across the street. This does make for some noise in the middle of the night which would be a problem for light sleepers.
“Beautiful Hotel close to everything”
Hotel Mayfair is right next to the Weston and all of the sights in Paris. Hotel Mayfair is the perfect location for all of the sights in Paris. The room and bed were comfort. The bathroom beautiful. The staff very helpful and knew my name the second time I came back into the hotel. Loved this hotel and would stay there again the next visit to Paris.
