“Exelent value”
My friend and I take one weeks holiday each year solely for photography and relaxation. I can truly recommend this hotel as a good base for both, being handy for walking and sightseeing. We are no youngsters and found the hotel perfect for our needs.Just one tiny niggle that there is not enough space for clothes to be put away.
“Brilliant”
I thought this hotel was very warm and comfortable, in a perfect location for the eiffel tower and metro station and in a beautiful area. Although the room was small, it wasn't too small if you are just staying for a few days. The bathroom was clean and loved the heater in the bedroom on cold nights! It was also really handy to have a supermarket literally across the road. Overall a nice place to stay and would definately stay here again.
“Un hôtel à choisir sans hésitation, on y retournera surement.....”
Hôtel très moderne, chambre également, dans un quartier sympathique et calme proche de la Tour Eiffel.
“Warm and friendly staff, Excellent location”
The staff at the hotel were very warm, friendly, knowlegable, and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well kept. The hotel is in an excellent location and within easy walking distance of the subway (if you have light luggage). Located within a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and other Paris sights. Excellent cafes and bakeries just down the street. The included breakfast is simple and light, pastries, cereal, cuts and cheeses. We would highly recommend this hotel for your travels in Paris.
“Great location!”
We got such good service at this hotel that it didn't matter that the rooms were small. Also, we had a king size bed and a great shower! All the people that worked there- from housekeeping to the desk people- were more that helpful and all spoke English. Our stay was enjoyed immensely!
“Best Hotel in Paris that we've stayed in yet!”
We live in Europe and have tried a lot of hotels- This hotel was one of the most pleasant that we have expereinced. The location was excellent in a quiet residential neighborhood next to several grocery stores, plenty of restaurants, a post office, wonderful bakery and the Metro. For sight seeing the location between the Effiel Tower and Les Invalides is great. Staff was extremely helpful and kind, breakfast good and lobby with games, books and magazines. Rooms may be considered small by American standards but they are very adequate and clean. We definitely plan on staying there on our next trip to Paris.
“We are going back!”
We spent three night at the Cadran Hotel and it was great! The location is perfect; the Rue Cler is less than a block, and the Eiffel tower is about four blocks. The staff is very helpful; we love Marta, who worked the desk during the day. Cannot wait to go back to the Hotel du Cadran!
“excellent location, great staff, good value”
The hotel is on the small side, but it is in an excellent location. The rooms are probably average size for Paris. The rooms were well maintained. The staff was nice and tried to speak to us in English. Overall, staying at this hotel was one of the best things we did when visiting Paris, and we will stay here the next time we visit Paris. We found the French people to be nice and helpful.
“Hotel du Cadran *****”
We loved the hotel, staff and location. If you want to be within walking distance from most attractions and love nightlife and food this is your place. The room is small by US standards but very well laid out. Wireless in the hotel worked great for maps, museum times, skype comm back to US, etc. I highly recommend this hotel for it's location and price.
“You have to stay here when you visit Paris!”
I loved staying in this hotel, it just felt like Paris before we even got outside the room. This is a lovely little hotel, just around the corner from the Metro and from the top floor you can see the top of the Eiffel Tower which is about 10 mins walk away. The room was small but this is Paris and all you need is a bed and a toilet really. The room was spotless, the cleanest I have ever stayed in. They are about to embark on a refurbishment of the rooms to make them all modern which I feel is a real shame as it may loose some of the character of the rooms but that is just me. They kindly let us leave our bags after we had checked out so that we could do a last scoot around the sites before leaving for the airport. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and the street market was wonderful. There is also a little supermarket across the street for picking up bottled water etc. I would even recommend this hotel to people I don't like, that is how much I loved it and think you will too! If you are going to Paris, you won't go wrong staying in the Hotel Du Cadran.
