“Fine service and location near Champs d'Elysees”
We needed a triple room and Hotel Arioso was one of the few I could find in Paris to accommodate us. They were very prompt and courteous in responding to emails prior to our arrival. The hotel is a short walk to the Champs d'Elysees and Palais Garnier (Paris Opera) as well as Printemps department store. The Miromesnil Metro station on Line 9 was a short block away. It was no trouble taking the RER train and Metro from Charles de Gaulle airport to the hotel, though you may need to drag your suitcase up a flight of steps or so when you transfer. The triple room we had was conveniently located on the first floor off a small courtyard open to the sky, and near the breakfast room. The room was small, but this is common in European hotels. The staff was very helpful, but if you want them to arrange for tickets, do so in the morning as museum and show ticket offices usually close by 4pm. The staff were helpful in explaining that The Louvre has side entrances and alternate ticket sources such as the tobacco shop in the mall inside the Louvre and ticket machines. This helped us tremendously in avoiding the LONG lines for the Louvre in August. Breakfast is continental and costs extra. Though we could have obtained a cheaper breakfast, it is convenient to begin the day without waiting in line. And because Paris in August was intermittently rainy, they had umbrellas for guests to borrow. I would highly recommend Hotel Arioso. Not your cookie cutter hotel.
“clean and cosy but expensive, very small &cramped”
It was a lovely cute cosy little hotel in a good location. We stayed in the triple room which was supposed to have a double bed and real extra bed but it really was just an uncomfortable sofa bed which was very narrow. Our room on the ground floor had no windows and was very small and cramped. barely fit our suitcases? It was very clean, bathroom was nice to use, plenty of slippers, haircaps etc. i would not reccomend breakfast as it is expensive and the choice is very limited. Staff not as helpful as other hotels we went to. overall it was okay.
