“A home from home in Paris”
This was our third visit to Citadines-Tour Eiffel, and the receptionist, who remembered us, gave us a warm welcome. From our studio we could see the Eiffel Tower - a truly authentic Parisian view. During our stay, the hotel was pusuing a policy of replacing fold-out canape beds with fixed double beds - which take up much more space. The staff were sympathetic to our wish to remain in a studio with a space-saving canape-bed but this meant we had to move to a different room half-way through our stay. We hope that the management will re-think the fixed-bed policy, which detracts from the "apartment" feel of the rooms and makes having any visitors or watchin TV a very uncomfortable experience. With the above caveat, we would recommend Citadines-Tour Eiffel for its brilliant location, a stone's throw from the Champ de Mars, right next to a wonderful street market on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, and directly opposite a metro station.
“very impresed!”
Citadines has everything we needed for our weekend break: - excellent location (10 mins walk to eiffel tower) and with easy metro access - very clean rooms with full kitchen facilties - friendly and helpful staff i would definaltely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to paris, either for business or leisure
“Modern Hotel; Great for Families!”
We were extremely pleased with this hotel. It had two rooms, one with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. It was a great arrangement with our 3- and 5-year old kids. We could put them to bed in one room while the adults stayed awake in the other room. It also had a kitchenette and nice bathroom/shower. It isn't the "charming" French experience, but it is convenient and the staff is friendly. There is a McDonalds nearby for picky kids, and several neighborhood restaurants for parents. Convenient breakfast buffet. I will stay in this chain again!
“Great location, great to have a studio with kitchen”
3 Metro lines within a few feet of the door make this an excellent location. We appreciated having the tiny/cozy kitchen including dishes, microwave, refrigerator, stove, and the world's smallest dishwasher. It would have been nice if they changed the towels, got a bit old after a week. But the price was great (for Paris) and this is my second highly favorable experience at a Citadines. I think for long stays (like a week) having a kitchen makes a huge difference.
“Good Location”
Clean, good service, located near restaurants, shopping and metro station
“super pratique”
bien situé
“Nice hotel for family break”
I booked the 4 person apartment for a 4 night break with my family (wife and 2 girls 15 & 11). The room was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. The kitchen had all we needed for a short break, very useful for breakfast in your PJs and we also had a couple of evening meals in. No shortage of hot water in the bathroom & staff were pleasant and helpful. Free internet access was via a router and network cable and seemed quick enough. The hotel is right next to the Metro which is really handy, there is a bit of a rumble from the trains but it never affected our sleeping! There is a supermarket next door and it is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. We had a great time and would definately consider a Citadines ApartHotel again.
“Excellent Location”
The hotel is directly across from a metro stop that connects several metro lines. Also across the street is a boulanger which has delicious salads as well as coffee and breads. There are several cafe's and also a McDonalds adjacent to the hotel. The room had a very small, but serviceable kitchen and there are a couple of markets very close to the hotel as well. Mid week there was an open air market set up under the metro bridge with everything from clothing to food. The hotel also offers a breakfast, but it's a bit expensive and we weren't usually up in time for it. The hotel is in a very metropolitan location, and our room faced the street (with a view of the top of the Eiffel tower), but with the window closed there was no street noise. The room was very comfortable for my daughter and I. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again. The hotel staff is very nice and respectful.
“Wonderful location - great place to stay”
We had a wonderful time in Paris and the hotel helped. It is located right next to a Metro that has 3 lines so it is easy to get around. The grocery store was right next door and since we had a full kitchen we bought jam and bread for breakfast and saved a ton of money. Neighborhood was nice with cafes and places to eat. Hotel staff was friendly. We stayed in 4 cities in Europe and this was our favorite hotel - we did not mind sleeping on the pull out couch, it was better that we expected. We will defiantly be going back to this hotel if we ever visit Paris again (hopefully we will someday!). Loved it for location, convenience, staff, and the view of the Eiffel tower from our room to top it off! We put in a request to have a view and they made sure we had one - so I would recommend asking when you book and you should not have a problem! Hope your stay is as great as ours!
“Very accommodating”
I was very pleased with this hotel. We stayed in two different rooms, a 1 bedroom suite and a studio. Both rooms were clean, neat and the beds were comfortable. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in the 1 bedroom suite, but finally chalked it up to the fact that Europeans do not like things quite as cold as Texans do. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and actually cooked several dinners there. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the 1 bedroom was fantastic. We opened the windows at night to let in the cool air and the "street noise" was not even bothersome, as it added to the "ambiance" of being in Paris! I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.
