“Great location and amazing service!!! :)”

Great location, amazing view from the room, metro station right in the corner, lots of places to go around, next to a mall if you like to shop as me! :) It's like a small appartment, with a kitchenet, fridge, etc... I had an amazing time there! Would definitely go back to that one! Service in the front desk was awesome! very friendly people! 10 points! ;)

“Front desk Personel”

They were very helpfull. The morning of our check out we had a problem with our shuttle service and they offer to help and even call the shuttle company.

“Over price”

This hotel is over price and some of the rooms dosent's have real beds . Insted they use sofa beds in very bad shape and the rooms. Citadines is soppossed to be a good brand's. Don't go by the pictures!

“Great location, but TINY room”

We loved the location - it's at the intersection of several metro lines and much of Paris is walkable. It adjoins a shopping mall with a grocery store, and there's a street market a block away several times a week. Unfortunately, the rooms are tiny and not very well maintained. We had a kitchenette that was oddly stocked - 3 knives, two bowls, four plates, two mugs, two glasses, etc. The room was so tiny that we did not get the double bed requested, but instead a single daybed and a single trundle underneath. The room was sufficiently clean but not immaculate. The service was sufficient - when we ran out of dishwasher tabs, they gave us more, 2 at a time. When we needed a wakeup call or a taxi called, the front desk cheerfully obliged. When we checked in, we were advised that we would have one housekeeping visit but were not told which day. On the third day of our visit, there was a 9AM knock at our door telling us we needed to get out now for housekeeping to clean the room. We negotiated an hour to finish breakfast, but the cleaning was not so thorough as to have been worth the hassle and did not include the kitchenette. All in all, a good location and acceptable hotel, but not as nice as the others that we've stayed in within the Citadines chain.

Room is small, the bed is more than 10 year old.

“Very improved”

They improved since last year. They had no "no smoking" rooms. This year 3 floors were non smoking and all plubic areas in the hotel was non smoking. This was great. Rookm service also improved

“Great location”

This is our third visit to Paris. This time we wanted to have breakfast in , so we wanted an efficency appartment. We had a one bedroom appartment for three adults and a child. We were pleasantly surprised by the size considering all the comments about rooms being small. There was even a bed for 5th. person. Hotel is clean though due for renovations. Metro is about 60 feet from entrance but hotel not within walking distance of popular sites. Considering price and conveniences being so close, we definitely recommend this location. P.S. our room was # 519, great size.

“Completely Satisfied with Citadines at Place d'Italie”

Excellent service from a U.S.-trained staff member at arrival. Room was spacious, extremely efficient, well stocked with everything needed for a semi-self-catered stay. The location is fantastic: walk to the river, Notre Dame and all the usual sights of Paris. Metro lines that intersect at Place d'Italie bring me to everywhere I want to go for business, and back to the airport when it is all over. Chinatown is just around the corner from the hotel, and the hotel itself is part of a building that houses a shopping mall, so that you can pick up books, clothes etc for immediate use or to bring home. A (rather busy) supermarket - Carrefour - is included in the shopping mall. And the internet connection at the hotel is fairly fast, and free. All in all a great discovery, having spent many trips to Paris trying out many hotels and finding rooms that are too small, noisy, expensive, I intend to book the Citadines at Place d'Italie many times in the future.
