"Very recommendable! An excellent way to go back in time and relax in av very nice atmosphere whilst doing so. In nice weather you can enjoy the surroundings and beautiful nature, and in bad weather you can just stay indoors and take in every aspect of living in an old Norwegian mansion as they did a hundred years ago."
"Excellent high quality hotel with great spa and breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful with the exception of the front desk. They were overwhelmed, unprofessional and disorganized. They were understaffed and the desk area was too small for a hotel of this size."
"The bedroom was a little tired, but OK. The staff were excellent and so friendly/helpful. Homemade cookies were the treat of the day.
Lovely little town!"
"This is really a grand hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was large and luxurious and its location, a short walk to the harbor, train station, restaurants and museums couldn’t be better. In addition the roof top bar was fun. "
"We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. Best breakfast of 4 weeks touring holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the added bonus of afternoon tea and dinner meal. The food quality and variety was great. Saved us worrying about where to go for dinner. "
"Clean and staff was very courteous and helpful- good breakfast choices - excellent location - walking distance to the water - theater and restaurants. "
"Excellent position, comfortable. Baker Hansen next door does fabulous cinnamon buns. Would be good to have more than 2 coffee pods, or warning to bring some with you. "

"We stayed 2 nights in May at Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget and found it an excellent base for our trip to Oslo. We were able to walk easily to and from Oslo S station as well as key areas we wanted to visit, and there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. It was comfortable and clean, and even though it's basic it provided everything we needed.
Our only complaints are that there was no kettle/tea/coffee provided in the room, and that an extra set of pillows would have been nice - but we're English so it may just be culture difference!"
