"The guy at the front desk when we checked in was friendly and cheerful..our room was very clean and bed comfortable,room was quiet.. breakfast consisted of a variety of foods and very tasty...will definitely use this motel again when we are in this area"

"Stayed at the lodge- tierney cavern restaurant service was nice but slow at times. Loved the pet friendly room we had. Putt putt golf course needed extensive work. Extremely poor course. Everything else was nice. "

"Clean, and accomodating (I'm a little handicapped; when I asked if my room was far down the hall, the clerk said it was , but "wait a second, let me move you closer to the lobby". ..and she did! MUCH appreciated. The location can be off-putting, but once inside, it's as comortable as the one that used to be across I-64 where I stayed a few years ago. I stayed a little longer in the a.m. to give time for the roads to clear after a snowfall overnight. The parking lot was plowed and cleared by 9:00a.m. This a beautiful part of the state to visit!"

"my wife and I both like the old style where you can park right in front of the room and unload your luggage.what we both would have liked was a higher commode.we both have some knee trouble and the commode/toilet was so low it felt like our knees were up to our chin,almost.every thing else was great."
