"The property worked well for us for a family gathering of 11. Accommodations for the most part for what we expected. We did bring kayaks because it description said that we could put them in a few yards away. It was more like a half to 3/4 of a mile down the road. it was very enjoyable but we were so thankful we had a trailer. The indoor and outdoor space worked for us. The lighting could have been better and it would’ve been nice to have a few ceiling fans in the dining room and living room...

"The location of the Steamboat Lodge could not be better. It is close to VIEW (with lots of free or affordable fun family activities), Calypso Cove, Water Safari, the Pied Piper, the North Street playground, and all of downtown. The small semi private beach was perfect for our 6 small grandchildren. The property must get a lot of use! There are several small items that could be attended to make the place even better (e.g., some of the beds are not very comfortable or sturdy, the cleaning process...
