"Convenient for our needs. "
The hotel is close to JFK and the shuttle service was the deal maker for us. The rooms aren't fancy, but clean enough and satisfactory. We do tent camping sometimes, so the amenities here were OK for us. We didn't need luxury, we just needed a night's sleep. We were only there one night. The staff was over the top helpful!

We selected hotel because location worked for our plans to visit Ellis island and family on Staten Island. It also proved easy to take subway uptown to visit Central Park, Grand Central Station, Macy's , Bryant Park and the Tenement Museum. Although a business area there are plenty of places to eat and get drinks nearby. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful, it felt quite personal. The room size was good and we had two comfortable beds. We did notice an odd damp smell in the room when we returned, possibly from air conditioning? We did not eat in restaurant as the one evening we looked it was completely empty which put us off. We had room service which was not great but largely probably because of American tendency to fry everything - including cheese sandwich on fruit bread! Supermarket across road from hotel provided us with our daily fresh fruit and juice for breakfast.

"Great hotel in Manhattan"
My wife and I have been in NYC many times before....but never had the pleasure to stay at Kimberly Hotel. We had heard of the great reviews about this hotel and therefore decided to stay there this time. What a pleasant surprise. This is a beautiful hotel, with great staff and good location in Manhattan. Definitely will be staying here again when we are in NYC.

Conrad New York

"Snazzy but comfy with a terrific location"
We just returned from a terrific stay at the Conrad NY. The staff is outstanding, service is excellent, room was very clean and well designed to make maximum use of space - did not feel cramped at all as we had expected to feel in a Manhattan hotel room. It's within walking distance of many Lower Manhattan attractions, most notably the 9/11 Memorial and new One World Observatory (which is spectacular and well worth the price of admission). The area around the waterfront and Battery Park is gorgeous. The rooftop bar at the Conrad was fun, easygoing and friendly with a beautiful view. The lobby is beautiful. We stayed there with our 15 year old daughter and 21 year old son, and everyone loved it. We will definitely be back!
