"We stayed in this property just for 2 nights, but got amazingly lucky in that when midnight hit on NYE, we were treated to a birds eye view of what felt like everyone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen shooting up fireworks all around us. From the balcony we sat as a family and took it all in. What a fun surprise! The property is right on the historic walking and shopping street. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything was clean, modern but cozy, and comfortable."

"Stayed for a week and split time sightseeing between nearby mountains and Munich. The location worked great for this approach with lots to see and do within a 1 hour drive (we chose to rent a car). The apartment itself is great with a satisfying minimalistic approach that I appreciate, iIt is comfortable and quiet and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. "You can not get a better location to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area. The view is breathtaking, the bike trail to Garmisch so close, the bus stop down the street, and the mountain trail almost at your back door. Perfect!! The Marion Haus family is a delight to work with as well and the garden, little pools of water and Fairy lights around the house very atmospheric. An overall gracious experience!"

Room was huge but it had almost no furniture in it and the furniture it did have seemed like stuff they got from an apartment somebody was moving out of. Our room was right next to a park that was decent to look at but had a lot of noise coming from it later in the evening. All in all we were satisfied and would not avoid this hotel.
