"Beautiful 2-level space located within the bow of the family home (a small ship). One’s quarters are completely separate from the vessel’s full time occupants. The space is modern and clean, with wide open views over the river IJ. I biked there, multiple times back and forth to the city center. "We had a great longer weekend near Amsterdam. The owner were very friendly and helpful for the start of our staying. The houseboat is perfectly equipped for a couple and very comfortable. With the two bicycles, part of the houseboat, it was very easy to reach city centre"

"Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! "Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Dafür muss man dann um 10:00 Uhr morgens schon wieder draußen sein, das finde ich etwas knapp. Man muss auch alles ordentlich und sauber hinterlassen, es wird...

"Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. Das war leider sehr unangenehm. Wenn es diese Sache nicht gegeben hätte, hätte ich auch für die Sauberkeit 5 Sterne gegeben. Ein zusätzlicher...

On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet.
