"Our check-in was fine until we discovered the TV in the room didn't work properly. We were told no maintenance was available (this was about 4:30 p.m.), so we had to pick up everything and move to another room. The person who checked us in was fine, but there was another clerk who was rather snide and not nearly as friendly. Someone spilled something on the lobby floor (dry, not wet) that was still on the floor when we returned to the hotel hours later. None of the soda vending machines worked,...

"Kings Island Resort became a 2nd home for my son and I the last five or six years. It was sad learning the owners are planning on tearing it down in December. The bad reviews are from those that stayed in the older chalets. I think those should be torn down, but leave the rest. There is no comparable affordable option to stay when going to Kings Island. I will miss the friends I made there. "
