“Recently opened hotel ...”

“Hotel Hipark à Nice: Confortable et classe”
Bien placé, tout neuf et très agréable.
“Great value for money”
We booked this hotel when it was still very new and had only 2 reviews (both very positive) and it wasn't a mistake. The hotel is indeed newly built, which immediately gives it few points against the other hotels in Nice. Rooms are nice and clean. There's a small kitchinette, so we made out own breakfast there (because at the hotel it costed 15 EUR per person per day, which is a bit expensive, in our view). There's a big commercial center right across the road, so groceries were no problem. The neighbourhood is nice, away from touristy area and rather calm. There is a railway station nearby, which was convenient for travelling to Monaco, etc. Staff is helpful and English-speaking. Overall I give HiPark a very positive review (except maybe for expensive breakfast) and had already recommended it to our friends.
“Hotel HiparkNice: excellent à tous les niveaux!”
Parfaitement situé (proximité centre ville, tous transports: bus, tramway, quartier commerçant: il suffit de traverser la rue pour trouver un centre commercial) Parfaitement équipé: plaques vitro, frigo, lave-vaisselle, bouilloire, toaster, micro-ondes,TV 40 chaines (anglaises, espagnoles, italiennes, russes)+radio; sèche serviettes; balcon; accès internet gratuit Appartement neuf, design et moderne hôtel calme Conseil : demander une chambre côté cour
“Surprisingly good”
Clean and fresh, located across the street from a Carrafour supermarket in the shopping centre and is just couple of blocks from the tram line. We are a family of four with two teenage children. Staff were very quick to open up the double bed into the component singles and the fold out sofa bed was as comfortable as a standard double bed. Air conditioning made hot nights bearable. Small but well equipped kitchen in the one bed suite allowed us to eat in occasionally and help offset the considerable expense of eating out in Nice. The port and the 'old town' of NICE and beach are about 15 minutes walk away. The pool on the roof is small but provides a refreshing dip between bouts of sun bathing. A good hotel and good value and we enjoyed our stay very much.
“will highly recommend to anyone, if I visit Nice again for sure will stay there again”
good location to everywhere, tram two streets down, 5 mins walk to airport express bus stop. 15 mins walk to old town. the supermarket across the street have everything so we can shop up food for breakfast. Feel safe even coming back at late night.
“Good hotel in an excellent residential neighborhood”
Good hotel overall with a small kitchenette. Hotel is in a residential neighborhood but a short walk from the metro and several buses including the airport bus 98. Carrefour supermarket and a small mall across the street. Mcdonalds too if you can't stay away from fast food. Can't complain about the hotel or the service, hotel is strict about their time policies. Do not expect to get a room before 3pm.
“Very comfortable and good value”
I was very happy with the welcome and help provided by the staff at the hotel (eg they changed my room when I asked for one on a high floor, remembered my name, rang a museum for me). My room was comfortable and had good facilities (including a dishwasher). A location slightly out of the centre meant that there was less noise on the streets, and anyway it was only 10-15 minutes into town walking or via the tram. The Carrefour opposite was useful. The only downsides were the spa/pool/fitness facilities - they were a bit more spartan than I was expecting. And why didn't they replace all the towels/empty all of the bins when they cleaned my room? Oh, and the shower has a stupid design; I kept getting water all over the floor!
“Pros and Cons”
Pros Hotel staff very helpful with directions and advice. Hotel is opposite a shopping centre with a large Carrefour supermarket in it (although be prepared for long queues at the tills). Near to a tram stop - costs 1 euro, to get into centre of Nice, is near a train station for trips further afield, like Eze, Monaco. Antibes and Cannes. (Cost reasonable). Can walk to Port / Sea in about 15 minutes. Room (Suite) had a dishwasher, fridge, microwave with grill, kettle and toaster. It's in Nice ! Cons Stayed 9 days - only cleaned room once - at least you don't have to worry about being disturbed by housekeeping in morning and is better for the planet - do you really need those clean sheets and towels every day? - extra room cleaning can be purchased for about 40 euros per clean which is a bit steep. The was also your own vac cleaner in the room. Little storage in room, no where to hang clothes, only 2 shelves for 2 people. TV had five English language channels but were all news channels like BBC World or Bloomberg gets very repetitive and boring. Still you don't go on holiday to watch TV and the French ones help with your study of French and the French themselves! Hotel has a pool on the roof, but is very small with little furniture around it. Only has WiFi in reception lounge (is wired access in the rooms I think), but was a good signal and not a huge problem to go down to reception to check email and search the internet etc. All-in-all, the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons
“Hipark recommended”
Really decent. Good beds, elegant furniture, clean and quiet, good staff. Kitchen did not have quite what was needed, which could easily be fixed, eg more cutlery, cooking knives and other equipment. Location was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
