"I searched for a low-cost yet highly rated hotel in Winnemucca and the Holiday Motel came up on top. Although an older property, the room appeared to be newly remodeled. It was spotless and had wonderful little ammenities like Starbucks K-cups, dinner mints and wonderfully scented travel soaps. The beds were quite comfortable and the room was quiet even though we were next to the ice machine. The staff was friendly and engaging. "This is a great place if you want affordability close to the strip! The rooms are well maintained and clean. The walls are thin - so unfortunately we could hear the person in the next room when they got sick in the middle of the night. Which wouldn't have been the case if we got the adjoining rooms we requested but they couldn't accommodate that when we arrived. We were also slapped with an extra unexplained fee at the front desk which was x2 because we had 2 rooms. The desk clerk said Expedia...

The staff was great and the room was a welcome relief after a horrifying 2 nights at Motel 6 in Palm Springs and a previous 1 night stay in North Las Vegas. Paul was very helpful at check in and within 10 minutes in the room we decided to stay a second night and Fredi was equally great when we went down to see if we could keep our room. "I always enjoy staying at this Motel 6 because the staff is superb. They are very welcoming, polite and accommodating. Keep in mind this is Motel 6, a 2 star hotel, not the Bellagio. So you’re not gonna have the most luxurious place nor will everything about the room be perfect.
