This is a great, walkable downtown location for restaurants, shops, etc. We had a deluxe king suite upstairs, and you will need to use the stairs (ok for us). It was spacious enough, and bed was comfy. Coffeemaker (k-pods) in room, but also lobby coffee, in addition to microwave and refrigerator in room. No breakfast goodies, but you save alot (if there are just 2 of you). A/C is the typical hotel style, but it worked well. We stayed on back side, so we didn't face Hwy 395.
Staff was friendly, although we didn’t interact much beyond check in and out. We would stay again
Clean rooms, excellent lobby, comfortable and close to JTs!

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
It had rained that day and we were on the second floor. The steps and landing had large puddles. They could have been cleared with one swipe of a push broom.
Food places were nearby and had good food.

Disliked: Staff & service
The room was clean, but decor was dated, eclectic, and spartan. Parking was adequate. Thier website touted good coffee bar with donuts. No doughnuts! Coffee wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. Hardly any choices for coffee sweetner for those desiring it. Staff was polite but offered no help with us wanting a first floor room, and the facility had no elevator. Very difficult for seniors, elders or handicapped negotiating stairs to second floor. Lots of street noise from the bar next door and casino across the street made sleeping difficult.
Very clean and so cozy in the room. The staff was so friendly! Met the manager and talked with her in the lobby for twenty minutes while she made fresh coffee. Quiet and pet friendly. Would stay here again and again!
Dated and well-used, but functional and in a good location. Overall positive impression

Room was clean and organized. Lights were very bright for the areas. Too bright of a white. And the bathroom fan was extremely loud when on without an option to turn it off with turning off the light. Other than that. The hotel was great and very close to food and entertainment as well as the main hwy.
Great small town on the 395. Cross the street from a great bar/dining room. Surprisingly a lot of places to enjoy nearby.
Excellent motel for Skip and run
Historic property in the heart of Gardnerville, walkable to eateries (J T Basque across the street!) and cute shops, especially the fantastic vintage shop across the side street. Very quiet for being in the heart of town with a local park nearby as well. Perfect stay.
