"Great Visit"
Topping off our trip with a stop at the Antigua Yacht Club was the perfect ending, it is so quaint and it gave us a better view of what Antigua was really like. Next time we visit, you can keep your big resort and I will pick the Yacht Club every time. The bed was a little hard but the hotels charm made up for it in every way. The views were fantastic. Can't wait to return.

"Difficult to fault this hotel and it's location."
We felt comfortable the minute we arrived as we were warmly welcomed. The private beach outside the room was fantastic and the bar/restaurant facilities are great. It's a peaceful place and there is a more than adequate supermarket 5 mins walk away. Renting a car is probably a good idea so that you can explore other parts of the Island, although the local buses were fine to use and very cheap. Local taxi drivers were friendly and pointed out things of interest on the journeys. I would definately recommend staying in a local hotel like this as you get to interact with the staff and other local residents whereas if you stay in the all inclusive resorts, you just get stuck with other brits and americans who aren't half as friendly as local people !! I think it's always good to support local businesses which if staying in a resort, you don't get to do. Every member of staff at the Catamaran was lovely and made our stay fantastic. i would urge people to consider this establishment when looking for somewhere to stay. Looking forward to returning there sometime !

"Sheer relaxation"
I was at the Carlisle Bay about 3 weeks ago and am sadly just getting the time to write a review now. Too bad the great relaxation I felt at the Carlisle Bay didn’t last a long time since it was a wonderful experience. I had made a last minute booking to the resort for some much needed R&R and got exactly that. Simply put, the resort is extremely relaxing……gorgeous bay, beautiful beach, OUTSTANDING service, caring staff, delicious food, luxurious room (I stayed in an Ocean view room on the 3rd floor which had a wonderful view). From the second you arrive in the serene lobby area (which is lovely because it does not have that normal industrial hotel lobby feel), you are treated to a great experience. It is clear that they try to improve all aspects of your stay and strive to keep the resort at a very high standard. I had traveled on my own, and felt very safe and well taken care of by an attentive staff (I miss breakfast on the balcony!). I had booked the tennis week and was thoroughly impressed with the tennis coach Ken. He is a great trainer!! The tennis week came with a massage which was fine. The spa area needs soft background music or such since the outside noise can be heard in the massage room. Nevertheless, I would still give the Carlisle Bay a 5. It truly was a relaxing and beautiful resort!

"A Rare and Wonderful Place"
Curtain Bluff is the most rare of places to still be found when traveling. Its design, layout,, service quality and attention to detail is hard to find anymore. From the arrival at the airport to the check-in and check-out experience the staff cannot be more helpful. Rather than see this as another all inclusive resort, think of Curtain Bluff as a fine 5 star hotel set in the Caribbean sea. From its white linen service to its extensive wine list, the dining experience is more akin to a fine restaurant found in large cities. The suite we rented had three balconies and looked both over the Atlantic and Caribbean sea. The gentle breeze made air conditioning irrelevant. Having traveled through the Caribbean I can say that Curtain Bluff is a rare jewel in the crown of fine hotels/resorts. One activity not to be missed is the weekly cocktail part hosted by the owner in her wonderful home overlooking the ocean. She is a most graceful host and the views are something not to be overlooked. Bring your camera.

"Lovely modern resort with amazing food"
We spent 8 days at Nonsuch Bay for our honeymoon in early August 2014. We had a 1 bed apartment which was right next to one of the three pools and had a lovely view down to the bay. The resort was lovely and quiet so we had a really relaxing time. There is a sailing/water-sports club on site and when your staying on the resort lots of the activities were free including sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding etc. The restaurant on site (The Bay at Nonsuch) is amazing, looks right out over the beach and the bay, the food is BIG, we never managed more than one course but its great. Lots of local fish on the menu and had a big BBQ one night. Zoe on reception is so lovely, happy and helpful so look out for her!

"Excellent service. Excellent food."
We were on our honeymoon and this certainly was a place for couples. I have never seen such a choice of food including breakfast. Yes there are birds but then you're pretty much eating outside. I work in customer service and I was wowed by theirs. Warm and very friendly atmosphere how they did all inclusive for the price who knows. Our room was spotless if a little tired. Air-con worked wonderfully in the room. Fruit in our room with a card (it was our honeymoon) if the hotel changes to a beaches resort let's hope it doesn't lose its charm and personal service. If I could give 11/10 I surely would. Great food great people great time.

"Everything at this hotel was wonderful!"
Hotel, rooms, food, staff, pool, drinks, beaches all perfect. The only downside was that the hotel allows people to reserve sunbeds with towels in the morning. This was most frustrating as there were sunbeds with no one on them for most of the day. People would often reserve a sunbeds by the pool, go off to the beach for the morning and come to their sunbeds mid-afternoon. The hotel should ban this behavior to make it fairer for everyone. Apart from this everything was lovely and I would definitely recommend.
