"I fell in love with this property from the moment I saw the listing, but it was quite a bit more expensive than we usually spend on accommodations. We decided to splurge and we are so glad we did! The home is everything we hoped for. From the minute the gate opened and we drove onto the property, we knew we were in a special place. We drove through a lovely bit of forest to the house right on the ocean. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, the kitchen is well stocked, beds and linens are comfortable and the views throughout the house are breathtaking! We were out and about everyday, but looked forward to getting back to the house to watch seals/sea lions swim by and bald eagles soar through the sky. We even had a darling little fawn visit us one morning! Our host Kyle was great at communicating and very available to answer our questions and make suggestions on our adventures and dining out. One thing I wish we had done sooner is explore the beautiful trails throughout the community. We didn't do that until our last day and were astounded by the well maintained and marked trails that led us through forests, along the coastline and through beautiful meadows. Vancouver Island itself is astoundingly beautiful, very accessible and full of friendly Canadians! Highly recommend a visit to this heavenly home!"
