Excellent oceanfront resort with great amenitities

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Cleanliness, staff, amenities, location, views
Cons: Nothing!
Location: The location has quick and easy access to Hwy 17 and all the activities and restaurants in the area, but is extremely quiet for being so close.
The staff was exceptionally helpful even when we had a slight issue (room key cards quit working) and even offered complimentary beverages even though they resolved the issue within maybe 3 minutes. The resort is very well-kept, clean, and had amenities that are very hard to find in the Myrtle Beach area. We have stayed in the area many times at a variety of resorts and none came close to this one in overall experience. This will be our go-to resort from here on out.

Great for kids!

Pros: Shuttle service can't be beat!
Cons: newer furnishings, clean the pools earlier
Location: The conceirge had a long list of restaurants that we took the shuttle service to and we played putt-putt every night. My daughter loved it.
This trip was my daughters first visit to the beach. She is 4 and the lazy river and waterpark were perfect for her. There were a number of pools to choose from. Our room was huge. We stayed at the South Hampton and yes it was outdated but the size made up for everything.

furniture was old, carpet dirty, no wash clothes

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Pros: Bathrooms were cleaned, but one sink for room with king bed.
Cons: Replace old furniture, carpet and update bathrooms. Especially
Location: location was good.
I didn't go on vacation to stay where the furniture was old, dirty carpet and never given wash clothes. I asked for a nice room, where the furniture was nice and not outdated. But that is exactly what I got. I don't plan to book Kingston Condos again.

Beautiful Getaway

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Arriving to the hotel was a little confusing and overwhelming because the property is huge, but my boyfriend and I asked a friendly guard where to go to check in, where to park, etc. We stayed at the Brighton Tower, but to check in was in a different building at the Embassy Suites (weird, but it was actually better because there was never a crowd in the lobby of our hotel). The room was beautiful and the view was on another level. We stayed on the 14th floor, long way up, but worth it! The room looked newly renovated with a spacious bathroom. 2 nights our air conditioning stopped working, luckily maintenance came fast and fixed the problem by flushing the line and it worked ever since! They gave us complimentary drinks at the bar and a night off our stay which was really nice of them.. Especially for the inconvenience since everyday was about 100 degrees, so it got hot super fast. The beach was really close... Word of advice bring your own beach chairs and umbrella! The lifeguards provide lounge chairs and umbrellas for $35 a day which is ridiculous! We used our own stuff and had no problem. The pools were crowded and not enough umbrellas, but I didn't mind because we stayed on the beach most of the day. The Brighton tower does have their own pool, also you can use any pool within the complex. They have a waterpark for children along with a lazy river, which was pretty cool! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!
