"We stayed at this cottage for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Susanne is super friendly and hospitable. The cottage is really comfortable and well-stocked for cooking. The beautifully landscaped private yard is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun. There's so many things nearby to hike and explore. So sad to leave, but can't wait to return!"

"Comfy bed; good shower pressure. Very quiet at night. We walked on the beach every day. We ate at Schooner's and The Sea Shanty, and got take out from Federico's, Surfside Pizza, and Thai Elephant in Morro Bay. We hiked on the Estero Bluffs, Fiscalini Ranch in Cambria, and took a day trip to the Carrizo Plain National Monument."

"Perfect for our weekend stay in Paso. We loved the loft beds, they were comfortable! I wasn’t sure what to expect because it wasn’t your typical bed. The heater warmed us up nicely as we had 1 chilly evening during our stay. The only wish I had was that there was a microwave to heat up my coffee. The electric teapot got the water warm enough for a bit, but it cooled down quickly. Thank you for everything, we had a wonderful stay!"

The only reason for the one four star is due to the fact that the surrounding properties are in the transition between cool, small town neighborhoods and “downtown” Paso. "This cottage checked all the boxes for us. Loved the elevated position, views, privacy, and the variety of outdoor seating locations. The interiors were understatedly lovely, and in excellent condition. Felt the cottage was more beautiful in real life than in the VRBO photos. Also it seemed more spacious than we expected from the square footage. Communications with Lisa were prompt, thorough and warm personally. An example of her care and follow-through: when booking I asked if the TV included...
