“Wonderful venue for a wedding and guests”
Great place for a family or a couple retreat. The rooms are large and clean with all you need for comfort. The restaurant on the grounds is good for lunch or dinner and there is an adequate buffet for breakfast. The hotel is close to the beautiful Big sur coast and the Hearst Castle. If you like wine tasting there are many wineries to visit and the golf course at Morro Bay is also close and the views of the ocean are beautiful. The town of Cambria is quaint and fun for shopping and there are several good restaurants to visit. Linn's and Robins are just two that we enjoyed. If you want a quiet place to read or contemplate, the gardens at the Cambria Pines are a beautiful place to retreat to. All in all a fun, relaxing and enjoyable place to visit.
“Will be coming back again, have refered to many people.”
Everything was great about our room as well as our stay. Everyone was nice who worked there. The views were great and my new wife got to see deer up close for the first time.

It is a lovely old place. They upgraded us to a suite because they were not full, so the accommodations were luxurious. They gave us a good recommendation for dinner in town. The gardens on the grounds were lovely, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious.

“Cambria Pines Lodge-Comfort, atmosphere and value”
Cambria Pines Lodge is a beautiful location for a relaxing weekend or week. It is cozy and restful. The rooms, cottages and suites are charming and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The lodge is rustic and a great place to warm yourself by the giant fireplace while enjoying a cocktail. The free full breakfast is an exceptional value and is a major factor to our choosing Cambria Pines Lodge over and over again.

“Excellent experience!!”
The only complaint I have is that we ordered roomservice and the cost was extremely high. We paid 80 dollars for a meal that fed two people. The food was excellent, but the price was still a little too high. They should make a menu that incorprates maybe a simplier menu for the value conscious.
“Beautiful Location”
We had a family suite and the room was comfortable (no AC). The balcony overlooked pine trees and a nature trail - this was a great place to hang out. As others have mentioned, the room (in the 800 section) was not very well sound-proofed and we could clearly hear people in the rooms around us and people walking outside the building. The included breakfast was great. We enjoyed walking in the extensive gardens around the main lodge.

Cambria Pines Lodge was a VERY nice hotel. We loved this hotel from the beginning to end. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. The pool and spa were big and relaxing. The gardens were beautiful and kept very nice and neat. The breakfast and service were very good and the workers were very polite and nice. This place has a lounge and it was so nice to sit, eat and here good music. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a pleasent stay!!!
“Cambria's Best Lodging”
Lodge lobby check-in was professional and efficient; the grounds' landscaping and buildings are nicely planned, attractive, and well-maintained; the rooms are well-decorated, nicely equipped, spacious and clean; attractive pathways lead you all around the property ; buffet breakfasts offer many choices in attractive rooms overlooking the garden; the reception desk people are very helpful with directions, suggestions, maps, postcards and stamps. It's a lovely and quiet place to stay~much like the lodges of 100 years ago brought up-to-date into the 21st century. We hope to be able to stay here every time we are in Cambria or on the Central CA Coast. It's a wonderful place to spend vacation time!
