Monterrey didn’t honor my reservation true Expedia and was a big nightmare cancel it and get my refund back ; they don’t care my and my family have nowhere else to stay or offer more options only said sorry we overbook and that’s it

I like the hotel a lot. Even though it’s older, it’s very quaint. Better to stay in the deluxe newer rooms. The older rooms don’t have access to an elevator. There is no parking so that is a bit challenging but street parking is free at night.

This place is a gem. Although an older property it was a perfect place for my husband and myself to get away for the weekend. 7 minute walk to the wharf and Alvarados beer garden right next door is amazing (try the skirt steak sandwich) we had it twice in one day! Hot tub was a little odd experience located in the basement and only slotted to one person at a time it is located in a tiny little room but it was nice that it was private. Rooms very clean and very perfectly located. Would stay again

Very clean. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. The bed was new and very comfortable. We were in the charming Historic part of the building and had a skylight in the bathroom and partial view of the bay- lovely! Yes the street noise is loud - they are on the Main Street! The location is extremely convenient and street noise didn’t bother us - I wore ear plugs and my husband is a deep sleeper. Valet parking was convenient and easy. Coffee and fruit were a fine start in morning; excellent restaurants for breakfast were very close by. Will definitely stay here again.
