The eight-story, 162-room Viceroy - Santa Monica offers a fitness center, two outdoor pools, and cabanas. A restaurant and bar are also on site; outdoor dining is available poolside (cabanas). Décor includes Berber carpeting, vinyl benches, silk chairs, geometric shapes, and copious use of mirror arrangements. Rooms include blackout drapes/curtains, climate control, a desk, electronic/magnetic keys, an iPod docking station and windows that open.
Marble bathrooms have separate vanities, pedestal sinks, and are stocked with complimentary toiletries. Daily housekeeping, wake-up calls and rollaway beds are available on request.

Whist: Acclaimed cuisine. Lobby-level restaurant with padded gray banquettes; bright green chairs; tables set with white linens; wall display of five crockery shelves. Outdoor dining available.
Cameo Bar: Mirrored-ceiling lobby bar is furnished with eclectic seating arrangements. Large white chaise lounges; high-backed chairs; low padded benches; glass cocktail tables; marble bar. Cocktails and lighter fare also available in outdoor dining cabanas.

One block from Santa Monica Beach, and 1 mile from Venice Beach, this hotel provides the numerous recreational opportunities offered by Southern California beaches. “can't wait to go back”
I like the services that are provided by this hotel. Everybody was kind. I enjoyed a lot. If I have time to go LA again, I will stay this hotel again.

“Beats all the big hotels on Santa Monica beach front”
Just returned after a lovely stay at the Viceroy and can not say enough nice things about this beautiful hotel. The service from the minute we arrived and greeted with a glass of champagne to to the day we left was 5 star, we upgraded to an ocean front room on arrival and every morning lying in bed looking at the ocean made it even more perfect. All the staff go out of their way to make your stay here special. After looking at all the larger hotels on the the beach front we were so glad we decided to book the Viceroy which is alot more smaller offering a more personal touch. Just a 5 minute walk across the road to the beach and the pier and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you don't wish to walk the 10 minutes to 3rd Street or to go down town. We got an amazing deal with Expedia no one could come close to their prices. I Would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a romantic get away.

“Beach Bliss”
We had a great time at the viceroy, I can honestly say the staff at this hotel is the most friendly accomidating group of people I have ever been around. we could see the ocean from our room and that was nice, it was very clean and the bed was great I dont think i remember sleeping i slept so good

Totally recommend this hotel. They made our night so memorable. Right down the the champagne, rose pedals and chocolate covered strawberries.
“A Must in Trendy LA”
The Viceroy in Santa Monica is a treat of a hotel. We were completely satisfied with every aspect. You can relax in you fabulously appointed room, kick-back by the pool, walk a block to the beach, or join the bussling LA nightlife at the Cameo Bar. The staff is amazing and pays specific attention to detail. Make it a point to check it out.
“Fabulous Santa Monica retreat”
The Viceroy did not disappoint. It is a beautiful hotel, and the service was spectacular. It is quite the hot spot, and there was a line to get into the pool/bar area on Friday and Saturday night. But with your room key, the staff takes great care of you. You will have to pay $15 fora drink, but that's LA. Great location, and a great hotel. Can't wait to go back!
“I would love to go back”
I had a great time in the Viceroy. Service was great and people were extremely prompt and friendly! I can't wait to go back! Definitely a good party place in the weekends.
“Most comfortable bed in the world!”
Nice hotel, very good service, great bed. Cameo bar very happening at night. Location good. Only negative is that I personally do not care for the "design" and style of interior of hotel, a little "cold". Had trouble using the PC and internet connection in the business center.
