“Quiet, clean, convenient”

Stayed in Miramichi for a wedding. My daughter and I were at the hotel for two nights and our experience began with the properietor allowing us to check in 90 minutes early, after we'd been on a train for 18 hours. It was greatly appreciated. The room was very clean; bathroom was spotless. Could smell the fabric softener in the sheets and towels, which was reassuring. The hotel seemed quite busy, judging by the number of cars in the lot that first night, but we never heard a sound from the other rooms or patrons. The beds were very comfortable, and the service was friendly and polite. Housekeeping staff were very friendly. Wi-fi access was consistent. Hotel is located just off the main square in Newcastle - adjacent to banks, restaurants, and Ritchie Wharf. View of the river from many rooms. All second-storey rooms have access to a balcony. This hotel is functional and clean. Good for families, business travellers, and the budget-conscious.
