“Great hotel”

Stayed here while my husband was in the hospital. It was convenient, quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was a bonus and free parking also. The guest laundry was a real help and the hotel even supplied the soap. They also supply a free newspaper every morning. All in all I would not hesitate to stay here again.

“Kennel Inn”

Hotel allows pets. The last morning I was there a dog in nearby room was barking for hours and hours, so I could not sleep in. Upon check-out, they told that pets are usually not a problem. They could care less about it.

“short but sweet!”

We stayed here for just one night on our trip from Ontaro as it put us closer for catching the ferry to Grand Manan Island early the following morning. The room was great, clean and fresh,. The woman at the front desk was extemely helpful and although the hotel is a bit on the outskirts of town, she pointed us to a few things going on nearby which we took in during the evening of our arrival. It was a short stay but we had a great sleep and were relaxed and ready to continue on our way in the morning. I'd definitely stay, again.

“Always stay here.”

Excellent place to stay. Great buffet breakfast. Free parking. Close to walkway to downtown. Always stay here when visiting Saint John, NB. Rooms are very comfortable. Window opens which is important to us.

“Good value for money while on the road”

Holiday Inn Express is quite easy to reach from the main road. While the location is a little distant from downtown (you'll need to drive to go for meals if you want something more than McDonalds or delivered pizza, the hotel itself is very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is the usual continental with the bonus of at least one hot dish and the cinnamon buns. Reasonable internet connection, this is a good stop on the road.

Area recommendations

Go downtown for dinner if at all possible. There are many good dining establishments. We visited the Opera Bistro and had some scrumptious lobster macaroni and cheese....well worth the drive in the pouring rain!

“Great Place To Stay”

The room was very clean and comfortable as were the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was fabulous. The service at the front desk was consistently good. I would certainly stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone. It cost a bit more than another hotel in the area, but in my opinion, two things were superior: 1) the immaculate condition of the pool area and 2)breakfast was included, which made it worth the extra.

If you have no car, I would recommend to stay down town on the harbour front.

The Front desk staff were excellent in recommending places to eat and visit. rooms very clean with a great view of teh Harbour. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was good. Nice room, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast.

“To the rescue”

Conveniently located with a clean room at a fair price. We tried several hotels in the area and they were either completely booked or required extended stays. Holiday Inn was perfect.
