“Not Impressed”

Although this hotel is located at downtown Moncton, it's not that convenient for tourist. You will have more choices of restaurant on the other end of Main St. On the day of check in, the staff we met were cold but the people we met the following days were more friendly. Our room was tidy, and quite clean in general. The bed was comfortable; however, the coffee maker was dusty and the alarm clock was VERY dusty and we didn't dare to touch it. One thing we don't like about our room is that it's the furtherest one from the elevator. We had to make 3 turns (ie. 4 hallways, each with a number of rooms in between) in order to get to our room - not very convenient if you have stuffs to carry - and I believe that's the longest hallway trip we had ever experienced.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the other end of Main Street where the tourist information office is located. There's a park where you can watch the Tidal Bore each day and I think that should be the main attraction in Moncton. Also, there are lot more restaurants in that area.

“Would go back”

Concierge was excellent. Very helpful. Room was clean, fresh smell. Corridors could use same treatment. Central location, easy access. Great security in the parking area, well patrolled - You pay but $10 isn't much for the security offered

“really like the room space and the swimming pool.”

I really like how the room was big and lots of space. The chairs were very comfortable and so were the bed except for the pillows. The hotel was quiet for sleeping but the blankets were a bit on the heavy side. The swimming pool was much bigger then most hotels and my boys really enjoyed swimming in it. The price was great and I would certainly return again.

“clean and modern, located downtown”

Clean hotel, with modern furnishings, located west side of downtown. Across the street from Highfield Square and the VIA train station. Easy access to the high way, and drive to Magnetic Hill. Parking is an extra 10 dollar charge though.

Area recommendations

Off to one side of downtown, but the whole downtown can be walked in about 20 mins.

Tidal bore at tidal bore park, check the town website for times (although it was 1 hour off the day we were there)

“For a good night's sleep.”

Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Free internet. Paid parking though (new since last visit, still much less than many cities although most (?all) others in Moncton free). Still, overall staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast available at reasonable cost in hotel restaurant. Expected breakfast fare, nothing fancy but food and service both good. Would return and would recommend.

“Wish I had know about paid parking”

THE HOTEL IT SELF WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE ROOMS WERE GREAT . BEDS WERE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE . THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IS THAT SINCE I BOOKED THROUGH EXPEDIA I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $10.00 A NIGHT FOR PARKING . EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT . I FEEL THAT IF YOU ARE STAYING AT THE HOTEL YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY TO PARK .

“Just What We Expected!”

The Crowne Plaza was exactly what we expected for the price - well appointed rooms, clean, comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was actually quite nice. We arrived a little late and just ordered comfort food but we're really surprised by the quality and portion size - HUGE! Small pool and exercise area were pretty much standard for such a hotel.

Area recommendations

Moncton is a pretty sleepy town in the Winter. Lots of shopping, if you like that sort of thing.
