Property Amenities
Set on an island overlooking Biscayne Bay, the Standard Miami is a half-mile from South Beach and the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall. Complimentary scheduled shuttle service is provided to a partner hotel in South Beach.
Continental and Mediterranean-style cuisine is served in the Lido Restaurant, and cocktails and light fare are available adjacent to the hotel's outdoor infinity pool and spa tub.
In addition to the holistic and hydrotherapy spa services of the Standard Spa (surcharge), guests enjoy complimentary access to Turkish-style indoor and outdoor baths, an aroma steam room, and a cedar sauna. A fitness center is on site, and yoga, tai chi, and other fitness classes are available (surcharges).

The two-story Standard Miami has 105 guestrooms, all with contemporary Scandinavian decor, light-wood furnishings, and wood blinds. Amenities include complimentary wireless and high-speed Internet access, day beds, minibars, flat-screen TVs, DVD/CD players, and in-room safes. Beds have Egyptian-cotton linens and down duvets. Bathrooms have hooded terry-cloth robes, Standard Spa toiletries, dual mirrors, and pedestal sinks. Rooms are accessed via exterior corridors.
Children ages 17 and under are not permitted.

Dining
Lido Restaurant - With an emphasis on fresh seafood and organic ingredients, this restaurant serves Continental and Mediterranean-style cuisine. Menu items include Lobster Roll, Tuna Niçoise, and Blackened Mahi-Mahi. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Lido Grill - Overlooking the bay, this poolside bar is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Lido Bar - An intimate lobby bar offering specialty cocktails, beer, and wine from late afternoon until late evening.

Recreation
The complimentary facilities of the Standard Spa include Turkish-style indoor and outdoor baths, a hamam with four soaking tubs, an aroma steam room, a cold rain shower, and a cedar sauna. Holistic and hydrotherapy spa and beauty treatments are available (surcharge).
The fitness room provides treadmills, free weights, and strength-training equipment. Fitness classes (surcharge) include sunset yoga, kickboxing, tai chi, and modern dance.
An infinity pool with spa tub and waterfall, a cold tub, and an outdoor mud lounge (surcharge; clothing optional) overlook Biscayne Bay. Kayaks rentals are available at the hotel's bayside dock.
The white-sand beaches of the Atlantic are one mile away, and water-sports equipment rentals such as jet skis and parasails are available.
Flamingo Park, 1.5 miles away, is a public park with a water playground for children, tennis and basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields.
One mile from the hotel, the historic Miami Beach Golf Club has an 18-hole course, driving range, and pro shop.

“Great hotel great price.”
Don't be dissapointed with the plane wrapping of this hotel. The rooms and views are great. Fantastic pool and facilities. Will definetly return.
“Nice Surprise”
From the Standard, we had no idea what to expect but the photos looked interesting. The Room and hotel common areas, pool areas exceeded our expectations. Our stay was too short to enjoy the spa but we will definitely go back if ever at South Beach again. Would not go back on Memorial Day since it is Hip-Hop Weekend at South Beach and was extremely crowded.

The Standard has a great vibe and a great relaxing atmosphere. I will highly recommend the hotel to single couple or if you just want to get away with wife for a great relaxing time. The pool is amazing and the service and food was great. Will definitely go back.
“Great Experience at The Standard”
We visit Miami several times a year but couldn't get a room at our usual hotel on South Beach because it was Super Bowl weekend. So we fortuitously discovered The Standard and will definitely stay there again. We were thankfully upgraded to a Large Dry room at check in. It was very clean and comfortable with a daybed, large shower, and roomy closet. The hotel is very unique~ hip and funky with a very young European vibe that's hard to explain. After checking in we had lunch overlooking the bay. It's a beautiful setting with a nice size pool and lush gardens. We also enjoyed drinks at the bar every night and breakfast in the lobby restaurant every morning. Location was ideal because it's just enough off the beaten path yet a 5 minute walk to Lincoln on South Beach. I barely had a chance to take advantage of the spa but will next time. If you don't necessarily care to be on the beach this is a great choice. It's very accessible to South Beach, as well as the Design District and Downtown, but in a quiet residential neighborhood on a tiny island. Oh, and the place smells wonderful! We liked it so much we stayed an extra couple of days...

“Cozy simple boutique hotel”
Although I was in miami for business, I would stay here on a vacation. It's on the bay water. The rooms are clean w/ crip white bedding and a great shower. It does remind me of a small island hotel. I find it refreshing from the big resorts and it's a price performer.
“Amazing”
Everything was great. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the customer service and most of all the Spa services. I enjoy nice hotels, and this one is near the top, especially if you want to come to Miami and get away from the insane pleasures of South Beach.
“Child Free Beach Spa”
The Standard was fantastic. The spa features were affordable and luxurious. We took full advantage of the bicycles and the shuttle that ran every 30 minutes from the hotel to its sister hotel on the beach. It is also walking distance from Lincoln Mall or the beach, if you're feeling good. Breakfast was the best meal. The steel ground oatmeal with nuts was fantastic. As were the pancakes.
“great way to relax in Miami”
This is ideal for a relaxing weekend away. More like a spa resort than a hotel, you never need to leave the hotel. The spa is perfect for relaxing/sweating your hangover away. Not your typical Miami experience, it's unique and relaxing.
“Wonderful, Warm, Water”
This was a quick getaway from the New England freeze. The hamsa, sauna, steam room, pool, hot whirlpool, etc. were warm, relaxing and wonderful. Great atmosphere, excellent food, fresh organic apples and iced tea available in the lobby all day. Wish there had been coffee in lobby, microwave and coffee pot in room. Didn't like the yappy little dogs next door, the room was tiny, and valet parking was an added expense and wait, but the spa more than made up for it.
